Congrats to all those who have their holiday activities on schedule. I just have some baking and wrapping to do, which are pleasant activities that I look forward to during the last week.

I should not be awake as tomorrow will be huge and my mother doesn't let me take Nana naps... keeps me too busy. Wish I could watch the carols but I will be back stage cracking the whip. One of the girls posted on fb that she is nervous about the 1000 people who will be watching. It was more like 5500 last year! Looks like rain this year though so 1000 may be closer...

The expected snow for last night never happened. It stayed just at the freezing line so ice cold rain fell all night. And STILL is falling.

I need to go out in this mess and figure out why the horses are all standing outside in the cold rain, instead of going in the barn where it's dry.

Judy is home and in high spirits.She has amazed me at how well she is coping.She goes back in January to start the chemo.They didn't begin it as thought,did heaps more tests and I won't bore you with details.

Oops, forgot to mention that I had a return visit to one of my surgeon's partners yesterday. Hubby also made an appt., as a back specialist told him last year that he needed surgery - fusing to be specific - and he wanted another opinion. She took one look at his right foot (extremely swollen and somewhat sore) and focused on that, insisting that it be checked for a clot. That was luckily negative, so current thought is that his gout has been acting up. He had already been to a specialist, had x-rays and told nothing was broken, but it could be a severe sprain. Doctor was pleased with range of motion in my knees, though they're feeling very swollen and stiff since we were there. It was a cold, damp rainy to snowy day. I guess I need to expect my new knees to react to the cold and damp. Prescription if for about another 6 weeks (have had 2) of physical therapy. However, we'll be with D's and family for 2 of those weeks.

Julie, the head instructor is about 29, the other one is at Uni so he has to be about 20. The girl with the crush posted it on youtube. As a part of their chrissie present this year I spent ages going through the photos and videos I took this year and gave them each a DVD loaded with as much stuff as I could fit on it. This was one of the videos.

Julie, by the time you go hopefully you will know the exercises so well you'll be able to keep them up while you're away.

My mother has had one hip replacement and needs another asap. A friend gave her a key ring - a hip replacement! It's fantastic!

The temperature is dropping..... and it's still raining. The snow should start in a couple of hours.
Surprise is doing great. I just fed the cows, and she trotted up after the herd. IH got to see her. He was opening gates for me. It's a pain in the a** to have to climb up and down off the tractor to open and shut gates while feeding hay.

This is a great day to stay inside and take it easy. I have an apple pie in the oven now, and will start baking a ham as soon as the pie is done. I'll top off the meal with a spinach soufflé.

Good afternoon all. It was a great game last night. Panthers won 6-3 and we were sitting right near the goal when a lot of the goals were scored. They change sides so we were on the right side at the right side.

No Rain, or snow, or storms or... just HOT, here in Perth!!!

Twas warm overnight, not a breath of wind outside unfortunately, to cool the place down.

Mum is doing well at home.
Yesterday she spent the day at my brothers.
Too early to ring her to find out how she is this morning (6.40am).
Today, this afternoon, she is going to a function at the Neerlandia ( Dutch Club).

Dad is feeling better. He had a minor procedure (man problems) the other day and is in a little bit of pain. Other than that he is ok. We had really good news this morning. My nephew got engaged last night. They have been dating for about 4 years and she is a wonderful girl. I am so happy for both of them. It looks like they will get married sometime in summer of 2011 after he graduates from law school. A summer wedding is perfect. We can make a driving trip to Ohio where the wedding is going to take place.

Meanwhile, back at the Ranch... No rest for the Wicked!!
This Morning - early before the heat gets hotter.
Cleaning (Hubby and Son helping - actually Son did his bit last night, as he didnt want to get up early to do it), so on C Morning a quick whiz around the house, before Luncheon Guests arrive.
Ironing the Mt Everest Height Pile - at least make a start on it.
Make shopping list for what to get for C Lunch, Caravan, some food for the boy when the parents are away and he is left home alone for 3 whole weeks. (prob do the shop on Wed Morn)

Supper is almost ready. The aromas are driving me nuts!

Heidi, I told my husband that we would have to route the trip to go by your farm. Great minds think alike.

I'm only 12 minutes off of Interstate 65.

If we do end up driving, I will definitely stop by. I would like to visit your farm and I know the boys would have a blast seeing all the animals.

Since all my friends seem to be someplace else, I guess I will say goodnight. I send my good vibes to all who need them. I know the vibes help. Have a good night and I will be back tomorrow.
