Hello all, have I posted today?? Nup, bad girl Broni!
Zusy, p*ss funny the video, loved the instructors, good camera work shame it was hard to hear them singing. Hope everything goes well with the carols tonight although I know it will.
Nola, good vibes for Judy.
My stars tell me I am now once again spiritually in tune. About bloody time if you ask me.
Still thinking of your friend June.
Teresa phoned me last night, her SIL (Lynette) is now out of her two week induced coma, they were doing one last clean out before closing her up today, still lots of small cancers in her body but she has survived so far.
Heidi, so why where the horses standing out in the cold rain? How do you make a spinach soufflé? Wish I could have been there for dinner tonight.
Julie, so pleased that you are getting flexibility back again, I know how much hard work that is, but persever girl it is worth it, I still suffer from not doing my exercises on my ankle.
Tami sounds like a good time at the game and on the right side.
Rola happy to hear your Mum is doing well.
Wish I could type, my fingers keep on hitting the wrong keys.
Dag, what a great time then, how was the gang?

Well hello lovely SA people - I have been MIA for days now. I love Christmas but it does play havoc with my computer play time. I have only read the last page and this one for now.
Broni - we got 30cm here and much more at Col's Mum's place at Kallangur - had to drive all the way home (65kms) in the pouring rain. But not complaining - as well as rain, temps down to 22degC. Yeehaa!
From what I read, Teresa's SIL is on the mend and Rolanda's Mum is doing well - good news BUT good thoughts and wishes are still needed and on the way for Nola's sister Judy and June's friend.
Suzy - loved the hoedown video and will show to my grandies. They're trying (unsuccessfully) to teach me. Hayley learnt it and taught the others. I have seen the HM movie or should I not admit that. The last dance I mastered was the macarena - too old and large these days.
Heidi - your dinner sounded yummy. I hope Tami gets the chance to call in to Surreal Farm. I would given half a chance.
I got a christmas card from Viv but again with no return address - naughty girl!! Sent your card Vici but highly unlikely to arrive before Christmas.
Hello to everyone else, especially Julie, nice to see you making more appearances here.

Brilliant Gail!
Yes I am home. Back stage is AAAAAAHHHHHH, but apparently the show was great. You couldn't walk between the people there were so many there, the littlies were dancing and singing, I have gigabytes of movies to watch as I didn't get to see the show. There will be DVD eventually but I can't wait that long. There was almost a disaster - no Santa! Santa was double booked at the carols we did a couple of weeks ago, so both thought the other was doing tonight. The compere announced that Santa hadn't made it because he was so busy tonight making presents for the boys and girls. Then the next people on stage s t r e t c h e d their bits by talking to the crowd lots and Santa managed to arrive a couple of songs late... The kids in the audience screamed!!!! I think the guy who drove home to get the costume must have had a police escort!

We hope most people thought we did it on purpose Gail!
Part of the back stage stress (apparently I was Stage Manager - hahahahahahaha) is that some people are so laid back about it all. Here I am stressing because there are no reindeer and they are one song away and they are all, oh yeah, it'll be right... I said to some, yes I know you are 3 songs away, but I will stress a lot less if you are standing at the bottom of the ramp waiting to go on!

I am reading the news while trying to upload a video and couldn't believe it when I read that line... Where do journalists train these days! What's the saying 'where did you get your license, from a cereal box?'

Suzy... That line is a CLASSIC!!!!!
And the Santa story is funny, too.
The reason everybody else is laid back was because it was YOUR job to handle the stress for them.

Broni... the reason the horses were standing out in the freezing rain was because they're idiots. They had access to a warm, dry barn and decided to get cold and wet anyways.

Good morning All. Looks like it is going to be a nice day here. I must go and wake up Ken and tell him he is now 70. I do not think he likes me to wake him and I know he is not impressed with another "O". We are then having a family lunch near the water.
Sounds like a 'fun' night Suzy. People who are enjoying themselves take the hicups as part of the fun.

June, it sounds like I need to wish Ken a happy birthday. Tell him that he is only as old as he feels.
Cyn, the wedding will not be, most likely, until the summer of 2011. It gives time to plan. If we do drive, I will definitely stop by Heidi.
It is a little chilly down here. I am baking bread for dinner. I need to let it rise in a warm place. There is no warm place, I usually use my garage. I have had to improvise. I turned on the dryer for a few minutes. I then shut it and placed the bowl of dough in the warm dryer. I will check on it soon.

I sure had a lot of fun when I reminded IH when he turned 60. I thought he was gonna have a heart attack. He was still thinking of himself as a 35 year old. Seventy is gonna be a real riot!
Please wish Ken a

Good morning lovely SA people.
Happy 70th Birthday to Ken. June, enjoy the family lunch today. Yes, there's nothing like a birthday ending in 0 to make you realise that you're not 35 any more. (I'm 62 in a few weeks - I just CAN'T be!!! And my baby bro is nearly 60)
Heidi - I had visions of you whipping up a spinach souffle from scratch. But, hey, if you can buy them frozen, why not!
Tami - who would have thought to put the bread dough in the dryer - brilliant!
Broni - looks overcast and cooler again today but it will be hot again by Friday, darnit!
Hi to Suzy, Gail, Brenda, Vici and any other lovely people I've forgotten.

The dryer actually worked. I would go out every fifteen minutes or so, take the bread out, turn the dryer on for a minute or two and then put the bread bowl back in. It actually worked well. It is usually so hot in the garage that I don't need to create artificial heat. The bread tasted good too.

My mom has not even turned on her pooter for that last 2 weeks. She and my dad want to thank everyone for all the good vibes they have been sending out. She will be back, once she is done playing nurse. Dad is doing a lot better, but is still not 100%.

Oh, dear, is this my first visit today? Well, Good Evening, Friends!
Heidi, your dinner sounded yummy, and I'm sure the smells were delish!
Tami, good going on choosing seats in the right place for the hockey game!
Sending continued positive thoughts, vibes, and prayers for Teresa's SIL, Nola's sister Judy, June's friend, Rol&a's Mum, Nola's friend, Tami's Dad/Bobbi's husband Bernie, and all in need! I apologize if I've connected wrong names or relationships!
Gail, I trust Bill is continuing with positive progress! How was the get-together?
Great TOPP, Broni! Well done!
Nice to see you hear, CynB! Wonderful to hear about all the rain! I hope some of it fell in areas that needed it!
Enjoyed the youtube, Gail! Read the comments below and was surprised at the reactions!
Suzy, OF COURSE, you were stage manager! Thanks for sharing the Santa story! He sure is magical!
June, please extend our very must sincere Happy Birthday greetings to Ken! Hope he has a wongerful day!
Tami, who would have thought of a dryer for letting the bread rise? Was it also quite soft and fragrant - do you use dryer sheets?
It's looking like pumpkin time here! Good night, Everyone!
