Heidi, we would have to READ instead of just looking at the pictures.

I am off to sort out dinner, we had a nice lunch out today, had to go to bank and a couple of errands and get some things for the cookie making on Christmas Eve. I think there are enough leftovers in fridge for our light evening meal today. I brought home part of my grilled chicken from lunch today, that and a salad should do me nicely.

Hugs to all and a good day to the dugs who are just up and about . Happy Christmas Eve's eve to all of you!

Yes, I got the human and animal groceries, as well as a trailer load of lumber. I'm now sitting back and relaxing at my pooter. This while I wait for IH to do all the dishes in the sink. He's been told that I will not cook another meal until they're washed. The agreement is that I do the cooking, and he does the dishes. Only he lets them pile up until I scream at him.

Thanks Gals.

Need to move, get my act together, shower and dress, finish breakfast, and zoom off to the shops and buy Christmas Groceries for the big day.

Afternoon all!
I did grocery shopping on 23 December and survived! It took concentration and eyes in the back of my head, but I didn't run anyone over with a trolley or get run over myself, nobody yelled at me, I didn't yell at anyone else...

It has been wongerful reading the posts today. I'm feeling all cheery and spirity. Bunch of spesh peeps in here, and I can't wait to share my good news in here when I have it!

Tami, tell your hubby that she'll do it, but the sound is better out the front.

Suzy - what good news do you expect to have? I'm all agog.
Severe thunderstorm warning here with flash flooding within 2 hours but the radar shows only scattered showers. Weird?!?!

Cyn, I could do with some relief from this heat too, so cannot wait to be on the water, so much cooler.
Think Zusy will ring our necks next time she sees us, spreading rumours like that! hehe!

OK.... I got awoken from my nap with good news! (Besides IH starting on the dishes) My favorite cousin called from Wisconsin. He has finally convinced his mother, who I adore (she taught me to ride horses when I was 2 1/2 years old, among other things) to get Skype. She has MS and has serious problems trying to email, among many other problems. Skype would be an easy way for her to communicate. The best news, though, is that they're planning on visiting here in April!!! It'll be my cousin, his wife, their 3 kids AND my Aunt Bonnie!! They've convinced her that the trip is doable! I'm SO excited!

Bloody Hell, must be doing Chrissy shopping or have a life Heidi! Me, I was loading the boat, plan on not seeing a shop if I can help it. 2 weeks of solitude apart from the occasional interruption but they will be coming to me.

I'm waiting to find out my good news myself - the $30 million lotto would be a nice start. I think I have a ticket in it. The pregnant thing would be a close second as without an oven I could sell that story to the media!!

I'm feeling very slack about responding to messages and getting any seasons greetings done this year. I'm only getting snippets of time on the computer, especially now the kids have their rooms clean and are allowed on again, but more because Mum is visiting. I am thinking of you when you need vibes, smiling at good news, and laughing along though!

Broni stop nagging about the gninori.... I'm procrastinating about my mountain, should I or should I not? Trouble is Andrew will need a black shirt for work on Friday so I will have to do one and if I do one I may aswell do the rest instead of wasting electricity heating the nori.
Temperature this morning is -4C, not our normal tremps at all it is COLD

I have been busy doing all those last minute bits and pieces.
Hopefully I will get back to reply to all the lovely Christmas messages I have received.
If not I would like to wish all my friends here Love and Peace at Christmas (or whatever you are celebrating) and Happiness and Health for 2010.

Good morning, 2 days till Christmas here topside.

Hubby is most concerned about Christmas Eve and Day weather. He pointed out, we will not know if we can get to his brother's house for Christmas dinner till Christmas Morning. The weather system that is bringing snow to the north will bring us rain again, perhaps another inch of rain on ground that is saturated already, so we could have creeks out of banks again and over the roads. I am NOT liking this wet fall we had, wettest on record, and it has played havoc with our roads. I told hubby perhaps we needed a HUM V as our next vehicle, he said we needed a TANK

I am looking forward to our baking of cookies and other goodies on christmas eve. Not that I will get to EAT any, what a shame, but we will take some to BIL's house, whenever we get to go, and I will freeze others the day after Christmas for hubby to have later.

You know what is the hardest thing about baking? Not licking my fingers when they get some of the batter on them! It is hard to remember to go wash my hands instead hehehe. Putting that bowl and the beaters into soapy water with some " goodie' left also goes against the grain, but if hubby not around, I do it!

Broni I have done the gninori now it wasn't too hard, I just hate starting it.
Hope you have a wonderful time on the boat. I haven't heard much from you about your health problems, hope these are a thing of the past and that 2010 will good for you.

Heidi, good news about being able to communicate with your Aunt. she sounds like a special lady and one of your favorites. so glad your cousin and aunt plan a visit in the spring.

SUZY that would be a feat, pregnant with no "oven" hehehe. Boy the gals sure jumped on your "good news" comment, I knew what you meant, when good news comes to you, you come here to share it! I would like that lottery good news, but you know, it would help if I bought a ticket hehehe We do not have a lottery in our state, I would have to get someone to buy that ticket, then share with them.

June, Christmas health and happiness for you and your family too sweetie.

Broni, you nori like I do, in the dryer! I refrain from buying all cotton when I can, that touch of poly or the newer touch of spandex is a lifesaver, a life away from the hot slidy thing!

OOOPS, flickering lights, let me send before we have a power glitch. Hugs to all.

Broni, yep, nothing white to eat except cauliflower hehehe. No sugar or sweet no matter what color it is. Really restrict, measure and time those carbs, but I do feel so much more energetic, heck my schedule this last week I could only have thought about in horror a year ago. such an improvement, I have a life again! It is wonderful to feel better isn't it?
