Hi everyone.
Sorry to hear about Robert's friend Heidi.
Too young.
Suzi, glad to hear your eye problem was nothing serious.
Love your avatar CynB.
Speaking of books, why oh why did I take 8 out of the library?
I have read one.
Had an Avon meeting this morning and I came 8th out of 10 in the district for Campaign 15 Sales.
Not long now and we will be able to send a link to customers so they can view the brochure etc. online.
America already is doing this apparently.

Shannon and Karen are hard at it keeping the Easy pages full I see. Lol.
Phantom will have fun doing his summary.
Lovely weather here today for the first day of Spring.
More of the same coming tomorrow.

Hi Viv, congratulations on your Avon ranking. My daughter sells Avon, or I should say did sell Avon, but not to the extent you do. She has stopped for now because she can't get around very easily. BTW, I love Avon's Aloe Gel!!! I use it on my face every day and I use it on dry skin, cuts, etc. Love it.

I spoke to Wagdy on Skype so I was able to wish him Happy Birthday. Opted for a hot shower. Too many of Laura's toys in the bath!
Good work Viv. Your sales sounded high so some others must have been really high.

Hi Theresa and June.
Thank you for the comments re the Avon.
I sold $1,792 in that campaign and the No.1 person sold $3,090 worth.
This person is a man. He has many helpers but I do it all on my own.
He is always No.1. He rarely gets beaten.
I hope we get the Aloe Gel Theresa, that would be a good seller.

Good evening all.
My daughter sells Avon too - but only because it suits her to sell to herself and a few family and friends - certainly not in Viv's league!
Yep, Viv - Shannon and Karen can make your head spin on Easy. Some days I can keep up with them, others I stay away.

CynB, I have so many people visit me at Cafe 66 it is incredible.
I will have to start a fan club. hehehhe
Poor John, no peace for him some days.
Just as well he has done the 3 crosswords before I get there, there is no hope if someone visits.
He finishes them before he comes to the cafe in case I need the answers he says.
God bless him.

Got a few new avatars - this should be my polka-dot one because I'm going to address Suzy's comment about Bejeweled Blitz!!!
It is driving me mad - they have ruined the whole game with those infernal coins/spins. I could say more but this is a family friendly page and I will get kicked off if I swear like I'd like to! #@$%^%$##%%#!

I'm up early this morning. Robert will be here in a few minutes to start digging holes for wooden fence posts. He can only work for a few hours. then has to get cleaned up for the visitation at the Funeral home. After that, they're holding a memorial wrestling match (Tho' what they do can't really be called wrestling) to raise money to help pay for the funeral.

Viv we get to see the brochures on line in the UK, not that I use Avon, but I had a search to see if we did. Brochure 14 is on line at the moment.

Viv, I didn't realize that certain Avon products weren't sold around the world. I have gotten my daughter hooked on the Aloe Gel, my sister-in-law and my mother-in-law (who is allergic to just about everything because of her eczema and psoriasis).

Cyn, my daughter sells Avon the same way your daughter does, mostly to family and friends.

Just back from doing some chores for my daughter, and now for my second cup of coffee (or is it third)?

Theresa, when it comes to coffee, who is counting???

Brenda, like you, I was tempted to check to see what was available at Avon online, but I resisted. Kind of busy today, and this is my break time, just enough time to read and reply.

Gee, forgot what I read last page, and If I go back, I will loose this. Oh well, break time is over anyway, my timer is saying squash is cooked, now to assemble the rest of the squash casserole.

Hugs to all with extras, take all you need.

June, I had not thought that Robert's friend could have suffered a brain injury wrestling that was his cause of death. Concussion injuries can do that, you seem OK, then all a sudden things go terribly wrong. I was just reading about the increase in high school football severe, life-changing injuries from concussion injuries, so sad.

CynB, I liked your earlier avatar more than the polka dots one, although that one is definitely unique.

Good morning. I had a nice long sleep. So after vacuuming my daughters house I am going to pay to have someone do mine today!!
My daughter was very appreciative of what I had done.

Hi everyone. Just stopping in between ffuts. Younger beastie is at baseball practice, will come home in time for me to fling food and then get older beastie to his practice. I have to go tonight and help hand out uniforms to the players. One of the coaches won't be there tonight so I said I would help out.

Life seems to be throwing some curve balls at me. I don't really want to discuss things here but as I said before, just having you guys here giving hugs helps. My cyber friends have become very important to me. I hope to one day be able to afford to travel the world and meet as many of you as possible.

Morning all
[[[[[HUGS]]]]] to you Tami. I'm sorry you need them, but there are plenty more here if you need more!!!

June, I think of paying someone to vacuum your house as a win-win-win-win. Someone who wants to work part time gets some work, you don't have to vacuum your home, which leaves you with enough energy to help out at your daughters', who then have enough time to do the amazing things they do for their schools.

Viv, I'm glad John is still well enough to join you for coffee and crosswords. I'm also amazed at how much Avon you are selling! I can't believe that amount came in 8th!! I wish we had the Aloe Gel in Aus too.

Theresa and Cyn, my next door neighbour sells Avon the way your daughters do. I have avoided looking at the catalogue lately just in case I see something I want - kids are expensive!! Think I should be having my 3rd cup of coffee.

Tami, we are here for you, whatever it is going on. Sending wishes all the curves straighten out and things turn good for you and yours. We are here if you need to talk, on the site or by PM, and I know I speak for most of us here.

Suzy, lovely way of pitting it, about June enabling her daughters to do great things at their schools.

I had a long refreshing nap today, just felt worn to a frazzel. Couple of hours of napping did the trick, even my hand stopped aching.

I was just out in Al's shop with him, we were hunting an appropoately weighted hammer for my exercises. I have graduated from the rubber mallet up to a 14 oz hammer. Imagine grasping the hammer by the handle and thentwisting hand from palm up to palm down. My wrist exercise with weights. Of course I cannot yet hold by the very end of the hammer, I have to 'choke up' on the handle now, but heck, I had to on the mallet at first and here I am, graduating to more weight.

You know how older women get those 'batwing' upper arms, espically if they loose a bit of weight? Well, that is happening to my lower arm on the bad thumb side. these exercises and a few others are suppose to stop that and eventually strengthen muscles and reduce the bat wing effect. Oh how our bodies can betray us as we get older or are injured!!

Time to fling food. More meat loaf tonight, with squash casserole and early June peas salad. App;e crisp for desert.

Hugs and exptrs, come get what you need.

See you soon you big baboon hehehe.

Hugs from me too, Tami. You have lots of cyber friends.

MizT, batwing arms ... I heard a comedian one time say how her arms keep waving for a few minutes after she stops waving. I know that feeling!

Time for a really late supper - caesar salad - I just wasn't hungry at supper time.

June, my hubby knows that if we ever have the money the first place I want to visit is Australia. I can dream can't I. Thanks for all the hugs. I know I can count on my friends. I have been thinking of selling Avon but have not got around to checking it out. If I do, I may have to ship some of the aloe gel down under. I have two aloe plants on my front porch. I just use that when I need aloe.

Hello, Friends! The past week has been crazy/busy with rare and spotty internet access. I'm hoping I can get this message to go through to let all of you know I've been thinking of you and can't wait to get back to a better schedule, including the ability to get online! Warm wishes, lots of hugs and positive vibes for all! I hope to be back online more regularly in the next day or two! Take care!

Hello ... ? Anybody there?
Just dropping in to see how you all are - hope you're well. :)
Think we've had a touch of food poisoning, which is not fun ... Mum and Dad go into a nursing home today. Mum is not very happy ... We've been doing a lot of travelling this week ... bloody tired! Hope it all works out ... next thing is to try to find a nice place in Melbourne ... remind me to arrange something for us BEFORE we need it...
I've been trying to keep up to date with the reading, but I think I got lost. Take care everyone. :)

Nice to see you around Julie - sorry your connection is so bad.
Judy - mt thoughts are with you and your parents as they adjust to the huge change in thier living circumstances. It's such a loss of independence for them. But congrats for having got them this far - it's a sad relief, isn't it? {hugs}
