Nice fall weather for the rest of the week...We had a bit of a cold spell a few days ago, but I am LOVING this weather. I posted photos from our trip to Park City a few weeks ago...hope you check them out. That's all for now, TTFN all!

MizT, I read your post with tears in my eyes, I know just how sick your dear Al is. My hubby was like a poor little lamb when he had pneumonia earlier this year, and I have never felt more helpless as I did then.

So sorry to hear such bad news about Al - sending all my good wishes and prayers to him, and strength and courage to MizT. ♥♥♥

Nothing much happening here - still trying to find a wonderful place for Mum and Dad ... everything that can go wrong seems to have ... it's a b***** nightmare! (Sorry, getting really cranky lately - been dealing with the government!)

Happy thoughts ... mmm, went to the gym yesterday: nearly killed me, but not quite. We're promising to go more regularly ...

We've had home-grown peas! Yummy! Our plants are loving the rain - everything's growing amazingly!

And that's about all ... take care friends! :)

SIL is going in to work early this morning, so I will have to get the grandies ready for school. I hope the oldest one is in a better mood than she was last night at bedtime. She is 7 going on 15. I asked her a question last night and she told me it was none of my business. I was livid! So I did what I had to do and just left. Her mother did have a talk with her, but ...........

I feel bad at the moment, I'm having to tell Richard little white lies. His 50th Birthday comes up next week (11th) and we are having a surprise party for him this Saturday. He was going to suggest to his late wife's brother that we would drive him back to Bournemouth on Saturday, we would never be back in time for the party. I have had to tell him that Em, our youngest, is coming home from uni so we can go out for a meal on Saturday. Her coming home was going to be a surprise too, she was going to stay with her boyfriend's parents until party time. I seem to be receiving lots of texts on my phone about the party, normally I share what has been texted to me with Richard but lately I haven't been able to do that. Yesterday I had to contact one of my friend's daughter as she inadvertently said something about the party on FB to another friend, who asked if she meant Richard's party. Fortunately I managed to get her to delete the post before R could see it. Luckily he doesn't get to go onto the internet at work apart from what is needed for work. I will be pleased when Saturday is over.

Rolanda and Theresa, you are both correct. They all involve tv shows.

Theresa I would have been angry to at a response like that from an 8 yr old. The next time she asks you a question I would be tempted to give her the same response. You do so much for those kids.

Brenda, you are telling lies for a good reason. Hope the party goes well.

Tami, I know it is for a special reason, but I still don't like it and I don't think I am very good at it either

Brenda, even when the lies are for a good reason, I tend to get mixed up with them and forget who knows what. It definitely is a good reason and I'm sure your hubby will understand. Oh, what a tangled web we weave ......

I am going to have a talk with my grandie at some point today. I am going to explain to her that she is not to talk to me that way. I didn't mention it last night because I was upset. I also realize that kids say things and they don't always mean them the way they come out. If she had said she didn't want to talk about it, I would have understood. It might have been just a poor choice of words, which is why I wanted to cool down before I talked to her. I'm off to get them ready for school now.
