I sent a message to Al, too. I already knew MizTricia's surname. By the time I read the above posts, it had already been deleted from Suzy's page, so I didn't see the room number.

So pleased to hear Al is improving. My friend was given an ice block to suck when certain drugs were given to help the mouth ulcers.
Horses now fed and back in their paddock. I have been bribing them with bread but now they all congregate around me and some are big horses. We have had rain and the ground is slippery so I am being very careful I do not get knocked over. I am here by myself and there is only one neighbour who may be able to hear me if I needed help.

Nearly 2 am, so off to bed. I'm still having difficulty with the new sloshy thing. I'm beginning to suspect that it's computer has a glitch. I'm having to manually switch it to every stage of the cycle. I know that's not right.

Hi everyone. If someone could send me the room number and last name, I would appreciate it.
Suzy, got a kick out of google maps. I wanted to see what it would say so I looked up the directions for Japan to Florida. Look at steps 27 and 38. It is also funny.
Theresa, thanks for the coffee, I need it this morning.

Heidi, no problem about the no room number, if you had the name he will get the card.

Thank you so much for sending cards. He will get them Friday local, since the one person who gets those e-mails will be having an off day today, Thursday. She may need a cart to bring him all his cards hehehe. There is a cork board on the wall he faces from bed, with push pins, he can see all the cards once I pin them in place. You all are the best.

Rolanda, thank you and Suzy for answering the PMs for me and sending on the info. I will be out again fore long this morning, a few errands fore going back to hospital. Al's brother will be up there this morning, I will go around noon.

Boy I was sleeping so good when some musical notes woke me. I could not figure what, in my sleepy state thought it might be TV and went back to sleep. Heard it again, got up to investigate, could tell from the living room. Checked cell phone, saw an envelope, that is new ( am not used to these high fangled phones like BIL gave us) Opened phone, " you have a text message". some ADVERTISEMENT aaagggggggggggggh, woke me at 5 am when I was sleeping so nicely. and that screech phone would not have stopped till I retrieved that message. I do wonder if there is a MUTE for the signals, so I can turn it off at night??

Beanie, so sorry to hear about your brother. I hope he can remain pain free. It hurts so to see your family suffer.

Mizt there should be a mute button to stop you being disturbed through the night, unless you need it on in case someone needs to contact you.
Take care of yourself, Al is being taken care of in hospital, I know how tiring visiting hospital can be. We would hate for you to be ill when you have to be strong for him too. (((HUGS))

Brenda, thank you, and I am trying to take care of me! I have been most comfortable in the lovely room they have Al in, and nurses bring me drinks ( ok, coffee, juice, colas, no REAL drinks heheh) and sandwiches, and I get to eat his meal trays since he is not eating. They have been good to us up there. Most comfortable I have ever been when staying in hospital. I do very little care for him, only if they cannot get there fast enough and waiting longer would mean a wet bed hehehe.

doing the sloshy thing and the hot spinny thing here this morning. No time to hang out and it is also raining. Just one load of my clothes, his can wait till he gets home. They furnish those lovely backless gowns, that snap on the shoulders too, lovely addition, with all his wires and leads, that is what he needs. They monitor heart on IMC units, and oxygen levels, he has oxygen via nasal cannula, and then every 4 hours he has breathing treatments by mask. Of course there are IVs through his port on chest, he could not wear J's if he wanted. so with all the tubes and wires you can tell, it is a major undertaking to get him out of bed, takes 2 of us just to handle his accessories, good thing he is now strong enough to not need walking assistance.

I am soo very glad I had taken time to select and hang together complete outfits back last week, it was soo easy to get something to wear when we had to go to ER suddenly and again when I came home for my nap/bath. I will replinish my ready to wear section of closet once the spinny thing releases my clothing this morning.

Hugs to all, with extras. I just cannot keep up with everything I wanted to say in reply to posts and I missed some so was unsure what some were about, I will catch up later.

The weather is still dictating work being done. It's too wet to work today, since it rained all yesterday (WOOHOO!!), and it's supposed to drop below freezing tonight. They're calling for a warm up next week, so they'll pour the concrete then. They'll finish the framing tomorrow, and hopefully get the gravel (for underneath the concrete to prevent cracking) in tomorrow, too.

Good luck, Heidi. The temps here have dropped to below freezing at night, and Saturday they're predicting snow. It's currently raining and only 4C out. Yuck, yuck, yuck.

E-card sent today also to Al. Good thoughts and healing vibes going his way. Also Bean's brother. I still have some reading to do here, so I hope to be back later.

Take care everyone.

Morning all,
Theresa, I love those, I think I'm going to steal one to use as my status on the other page.

Heidi, I'm sorry that the work isn't happening, but I'm glad about the reasons. We've all said it before, but here they would still have our application to do the work sitting in their intray - though the cheque for the fee would have been cashed.

MizT, at any other time you could just turn your phone off, but right now I'm guessing you want to be contactable. When I stayed in hospital with Ally here there was a coffee room I could go to to get a cup of coffee. In the US we had to go to a cafeteria type thing. The nurses were great, but had limited options.
