Don't take life too seriously, No one makes it out alive. Its better to light a candle than to curse the darkness. Remember life's a pleasure not a chore.

Ally is staying home to rest her ankle. I have to take her to her regular doc - wonder if there's enough money in the account to cover that?

No cows in labor. And it looks like there won't be until at least tomorrow. That means that I don't have to do a cow check tonight.

Heidi, she bent it over last night, we spent the night in casualty having it xrayed etc. It's not broken but she may have ligament damage etc so we were told to take her to the doc to get it checked.

Greetings Friends, I am dropping in without reading, oh so many pages behind. I did want all to know we are alive and well. I am just very busy now with all his meds and trying to get 8 cups of Gatorade as doc requested, plus some nutrition. Gatorade does not have a lot of calories, you know. He did loose weight while in hospital, but doc was not too concerned about that. His blood counts are a bit low, so I have a lot of feedings to get down him to get them back up again, or they might be giving him IV iron or even a blood transfusion if it gets lower. Seems we do not get through with one feeding before time to start the next one.

We had a nice snow while we were in hospital. the day I came home for a nap, the drive home was beautiful. My kind of snow, about 2 inches on the ground, but none on the roads, driving was not a problem, and the countryside was beautiful. I should have taken pictures but did not. That was Thursday. Now, on Monday and Tuesday, it is shirt sleeve weather, in the high 60's and sunny, I love it. I have doors open now for a breeze and it is almost 5 pm, what changeable weather.

thank goodness for friends and family, we had major water problems while he was in hospital. I was not home to drip water overnight, and we had pipes freeze at an outside faucet, and in our water meter. the people from water dept had to come fix their problem in the meter, on a Saturday, but they got someone right out. Then there was still a leak, so he dug around to uncover pipes on my side, which he did not have to do, and discovered the second leak. My BIL came and repaired that, with help of one of our friends. Same friend who had come by to visit AL Friday and found our water faucet was busted and water running. He repaired that for us. So, by Saturday afternoon, I had water again. You have no idea how much you use water till you do not have it.

Doc appointment this morning, and they said continue what he is doing, come back Monday for blood work and possible chemo again. We have to make appointment with the radiation doc for him to check him out to see when he might start radiation again. boy with so many interruptions, seems we will never get to end of this treatment.

I hope to get back soon to read about all of your lives, sending hugs for those who need them and love to all of you. Al said say hello for him also, so HELLO EVERYONE.

Gekko, All! Nearly food-flinging time, so taking just a few minutes to start my read on page 554.

Hi, Broni, Suzy and eaa!

Broni, I keep missing you here. Since I'm a few pages behind our current location, I have just read that you are waiting to hear about Possum's surgery. Certainly by now he is out of surgery and doing well!

Suzy, of course Alie's injury didn't occur in class, but doing something afterward! Isn't that when injuries tend to happen? I hope you were able to convince her to get her injury tended to!

Headed now to page 555.

Suzy, I thought it was a general rule that doctors bulk bill for children under 17 and the elderly over 70. I know that is what my doctor does- maybe they are the exception.

Hi everyone!

I'm at work by myself at the moment, so no work is happening at all. The boss hasn't arrived (he's in the middle of moving) and the other guys have gone out and didn't tell me where they were going. I think they assumed I knew what was happening. Oh well, it's quiet anyway.
