I have read, I had about 2 and a half pages to catch up, but unfortunately the real world is interfering, so I cannot reply at the moment. Everyone have a good day and I hope to get back later. Hugs to all.

Thanks for the reminder Heidi, it is a friends 50th birthday on the 4th.
Broni, I don't have the twins now they have to go back to their own home to look after their animals, their grandmother just lives around the corner from them, so they are spending a lot of the time there.
The good news is that the big C is not the cause of the growths which were taken away last week, but whatever the growths are they were feeding off L's blood causing her anemia. She is still too poorly to breath for herself so she has been sedated again. Still a worrying time. The twins father hasn't been in touch with them uptil last night. His mother and L's mother had tried to contact him with no success (they are divorced and he has another partner)

Greetings from me to all of you! Wishing everyone the best of days. I finally have a few 4th of July avatars. (Thanks, Gath!) I know it's just another day in most parts of the world, but want to try out the avatars, so please bear with me!

The previous avatar is hard to read, but says, "Have a safe 4th of July." I think that applies to everyone.

I have done some of my ffuts today, that sucky thing over half the house, another half to go! Washed all the dishes that would not fit the machine, watered my outside flowers fore it got hot, cooked breakfast and lunch, Know there are a few other things I cannot remember now. considering I must work a bit and rest a bit (back is complaining today) I am happy with what I have accomplished. If I can just keep up the pace another couple of hours, I will be happy.

Heidi, you do have some nice fireworks, enjoyed seeing them. Tomorrow night, a nice fireworks show not far from us (did I say this before?) I hope to get Al to go, but probably not. Gee, I think if we drove about 3 miles to a hill top, we could see without joining the crowd at the American Village.

I will probably shoot off some of my own fireworks tomorrow night. I'm pretty well stocked up on the big, professional size fireworks. I inherited that obsession from my father. He put on a huge fireworks show at our wedding.

Hi, All! MizT, you have already accomplished a lot today! Good for you!

Heidi, YUMMM for the cherries. I have some in my fridge right now & will have some for a late lunch (2:20 p.m.). Please be careful when setting off the fireworks! Will Dennis need to be tranquilized?

Nola, you're a little too far away for me to get there and help out. Good luck with the new fig tree!

Brenda, continuing to send prayers for your friend!

Sending happiness and good health to all you Sudokuaholics!

Now, will grab a quick lunch, then do some more ffuts. Hope to see you later!

Nola, now you just have to hope that this fig doesn't get run over by the dreaded lawnmower..

Brenda, I am so sorry for your friend. I wish it had been all in her head. Can I join the parade down to the doctors office to tell him he's an idiot? Sending more thoughts and wishes.

Morning All. The bird is awake (a Native Noisy Miner) It has taken over the sun room. Yesterday I found it floating with the fish. Took it out and dried it off. Not sure what to do with it.
Brenda, hope your friend is slowly recovering.
Nola, good luck with the new fig tree. I love fresh figs. Looking forward to the before and after shots of your kitchen.

Hubby has been called upon to comment on Baseball(Sports Saturday ) on a community radio station for about the last 15 years. This morning will be the last time as the program is being axed. Another end of an era in our lives. I must go and listen.

And Heidi I sometimes get the impression that those fireworks from your wedding are still going off!

June, that is sad news about the baseball program.

Is there a native animal rescue group who could help with the minor?

June.... are you sure you want to help that ungrateful bird? If it was floating in a fish tank, that means it's trying to fly. Take the Noisy Miner outside and see if it can fly away. It's much more stressful to the bird to be confined than to fend for itself. It's likely that it will injure itself worse in the sun room.
Unless the wing is broken. Then it should be splinted and confined, but in a darkened room to keep it calmer.
