everyone. I was going to get up earlier than usual to take Mason to the Vet's for allergy testing. But IH made a racket this morning, setting off the dogs barking, waking me up well before the alarm was due to go off.

The new Harry Potter movie comes out this week and we were trying to see the first 5 movies again before it came out. In the summer we watch movies in the backyard. I put a huge sheet on the back of the garage and hubby sets up the dvd projector and the stereo speakers and it's just like the drive-in. We were going to watch 2 HP movies at a time but it's been raining and last night it was too cold. So we watched the first 4 inside and will watch the 5th one tonight outside!

Mornin Heidi! Hope the fence repair is going well and the thunderstorms weren't too bad.

Stella, that sounds like a lot of fun. I think the tv is showing the movies over a week or so, but I really don't watch much anymore. I will go see the new movie when it comes out, as Hannah says though, not on the first day!
I might start reading them again, if I remember how. Gone are the days when I would wile away hours reading.

Heidi, a REAL newspaper, with printers ink you get on your fingers? Oh My, have not seen one of those in ages. Closest I bother with is the grocery fliers that come in the mail. I read news online, do not even watch local news on TV most times.

You were not the only one awake early by a noise. Only my noise was not hubby, it was THUNDER and it was dark still. No severe, just flash flood warnings.

Went back to bed after it passed, and was awakened again, just after sun up, with the second batch of T storms coming through. More flash flood warnings. I imagine we have at least some water across the road at the bridge. I do need to go to town today for BP meds, I ran out yesterday, but not with flash flood warnings about.

Congrats on your closing today, hope the cows enjoy the new grass.

Stella, I could not imagine movies outside so did not even think of that as being your marathon. Sounds fun. Hope the rain holds off so you can see the movie outside tonight.

Blame the double post on the t storms, I lost internet connection as I was sending, so I sent it again. Might have to close down for a while, weather is playing with my signal, and thunder is getting closer again. This will be #3 t storm to go through. I think Heidi sent me her t-storms for today!

Good Maen everyone!! I am excited about the new HP movie too!! One of our cable channels (ABC Family) showed the first 4 movies this past weekend...Seen them before, can't wait!!! I may re-read the books instead & wait for the movie on DVD...We have the first 4 on DVD.

I must have, MizT. We were supposed to get those thunderstorms today, but there isn't a cloud in the sky.

I'm back from the Vet Clinic. Mason was very well behaved. Afterwards, I had to stop at the bank for a cashiers check for the closing, so Mason came inside with me. She got spoiled rotten. They crammed her full of bacon treats, and everybody there petted, hugged and kissed her.

Good morning all. I have had a couple of hours sleep but woke when Hubby came to bed. Got up to get a drink, and of course dropped by here.

MIL is moving in with her daughter so we are getting our inheritance items early. More boxes??? I am a sentimental softie. How could I see a dinner set given to her by her husband before they got married 70 years ago be sent to the local Op shop? I said I would pack it away so that one day Laura would have something belonging to her Great Grandparents.

June, boxes with treasures like that do not count! What a wonderful thing for Laura to have some day. Now hope you get back to sleep June, as we get older, that beauty sleep is important!

Vici, hope you get a lot done with the rocks, I know how slow going that can be, one rock at a time. How far away are they stored? I did not see a pile of rock right there on that lower drive, close at hand.

Mason was a popular pup at the bank it seems. Nice that well mannered dogs are allowed to go inside.

Storms seem to all be south of us, but forecast high for the day was reduced by almost 10 degrees, sounds good to me.
