Hey Broni.. yep.. amazing doing 'Stuff' soon drags you down to Earth.

Have my Cousin from Ingrid and her tribe popping insoonish.. They arrived last night in Perth, from Holland.
Havent seen her in 26 1/2 years, she came over for my wedding, and did a reading.
This will be the first time I will meet her husband and 4 children.

Sigh !!

Rolanda, lovely to chat, sorry I had to leave so suddenly, but sure you understand. Your trip sounds like you had a great time in spite of a few travel inconveniences. HUGS to you, hope you get rested fully and soon.

Forgot to say, I have found a mail order company that accepts my insurance. The customer service rep at my insurance did not know what she was talking about, it seems. I got my book and I made some calls. The person I talked with at the diabetic supply co was really nice! They got my information, they will get a new prescription from my doc, they will get this approved with my insurance BEFORE sending anything out and I have the name of one person I can contact if I have special problems. They will phone me before they send out anything to let me know just what my insurance will pay, and they are trying to get me the new One touch meter that can use blood from more sites! Seems adequate to me. Good thing I did not NEED supplies yesterday, eh?

Great to see you back Becky, you have had a lot on your plate lately, hopefully things will calm down now.
Broni your proposed time out on the boat sounds perfect, hope the weather is good to you.
MizT well done on finding a supplier, hope this one lasts longer than the other one.
Heidi make sure you enjoy every last minute of your trip, you work so hard you deserve time out.
Rolanda, your really having a good year this year. Holidays in the caravan, trip to China and now meeting up with cousin whom you haven't seen in too many years. Hope these good things continue to happen.

Oh what a night I've had...
Mandy was wonderful..Patty also...but it was Mandy I went to see [a groupie from way back].
The concert hall was filled with all the showbiz bigwigs... I was wandering around going oh where do I know you from... Not surprised they all rolled up to hear such a duo perform.
Just as we were discussing hanging around the stage door..ha ha... who did I spot... another local singer that Victoria and I are nuts about... in fact we were wondering on the way in whether David Hobson would be there... WELL...Victoria nearly swooned and of course we had to go and chat him up.... jumped the queue of people waiting to chat to him. As I said ... what a night!!

Oh, Bean. i wish I had been with you to see and hear Mandy again. Patti Lupone isn't bad, but I've adored Mandy Patinkin for a LONG tme. That was something else I had in common with my grandmother. The rest of the family didn't like him (I DID say they are awful people) and she was thrilled to discover that I shared her love. We would both sit and listen to him sing with tears in our eyes.

It is raining here... hard. It's going to make a lot of my last minute farm chores more difficult, such as unloading feed and concrete from my truck to make room for Fionafest stuff.

Heidi they were obviously AWFUL people if they did not like MANDY!!
My computer is carrying on like a pork chop... or maybe it is the operator... I think it must be...

Hope everyone else is doing well this morning. Going to the mall & lunch with my friend Janet today, nice dinner with Darrell at Sostanza tonite, then off to Washington State tomorrow morning. My SIL Laura wants us there by dinnertime because all the kids (especially my oldest niece Heather) will be there. She usually only comes in from Seattle once in a while. Look forward to seeing everyone & taking some relaxation time. I'll be checking in because I am bringing my laptop. TTFN everyone, take care!
