Didn't know we were at the bottom. I am out of the habit of checking the numbers.
My lights say Tami is still here. I thought she said she was heading to bed. Good Night, Tami!

I decided it was about time to change avatars. This is the first day in about a week that I have had more than a minute or two to visit here.

Hi Julie and others...not really here but HAD to clean up my desk and papers...and the puter turned itself on! I needed to find the rego sticker for my car, I looked everywhere then hubby handed it to me...it was in his pile!
He is going to have a day 'doing his own thing', his words, whatever that means.
D#1, Chloe, has asked if I want to go out with her and do some op shopping, why not I say.
Have a great day everyone, catch you later.

FINALLLY....I am here...
First coffee of the day is going down a treat!
Have just arrived home after taking Lachie to the doctor. He doesn't have pneumonia [thank goodness] but a nasty tracheo/bronchitis. The chest pain is a little better today and hopefully after a few days on antibiotics he will start to improve.
Glad to hear that your cough has eased a bit Heidi.
I'm really missing Tricia... hope all is well there with the scan and the confounded computer..

Julie I am so impressed that you manage to not miss people out with your greetings... I fear that I couldn't do that.
So good to get inspiring news about your friend Brenda. Such a long journey is ahead of here. Even when she is physically recovered there will be the mental recovery necessary to come to terms with the prolonged stay in hospital. Trying to catch up with the world around you after everything stopped for you and yet seasons and life continued for everyone else... births, deaths, seasons, floods, wars...it is a really weird experience trying to pick up the threads of your life after a prolonged stay in hospital...

Today the sun is shining and there is a bit of a breeze... it is hard to believe that yesterdays weather was so wild!
I have a terribly long list of MUST do's today... the 'TO DO' list has been upgraded... by tomorrow it will be imperative/urgent....
I have been enjoying myself far too much planning for the 'THE BEAN'N VICI ADVENTURE'...
On that note I must skedaddle...

Hello, again! Bean, I'm SO glad to hear that Lachie doesn't have pneumonia. I think the tracheo/bronchitis is enough. I hope he'll continue taking his antibiotics through the full course. Hoping he feels MUCH better soon!
Heidi, I hope your antibiotics will kick in quickly and help you feel better as soon as possible. Hopefully you will get a good night's sleep tonight and much less coughing. BTW, I still have a few peacock avatars waiting in the wings. But, perhaps, I should introduce another theme which is appropriate for the 40th anniversary of Woodstock.

Hi, Gail! I hope hubby enjoys "doing his own thing" today. When do you think you'll find out what that is? Enjoy shopping with D#1!
Hi, Rolanda! So it's Mondaymorningitis for you today. I hope it's not contagious, or I might be getting it tomorrow morning. I hope you don't have too much ffuts you need to do today! Take care.

It's nearing midnight here. I think that means it's approaching 1 a.m. for Heidi. I hope you have the dogs fed and are climbing into a soft, warm bed, Heidi! Sleep well! I need to call it a night here. Good Night and sleep well to all topsiders (including Brenda) and good afternoon, DUGs! Hope to see everyone tomorrow, including MizT!

BTW I love your avatar to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Woodstock ... of course I am far too young to have any idea what your are talking about when it comes to Woodstock...
I felt REALLY old watching some movie clips last night on Woodstock.
I'm going to have a wee nana nap and get back out to the sunshine..

Where was everybody when Woodstock was happening?
I was just a little too young to go.... only 14..... but 2 of my neighbors who were 16 went. It will always be unique in music history. The list of performers is utterly mind boggling.

Good evening all from a house with sparkling lovely clean carpets and 2 shiny clean leather recliners - boy, you don't realise how bad something is until you get it cleaned.
Bean - do pass on my Get Well wishes on to Lachie - hope the antibiotics work quickly.
Woodstock - I was 21, married (we used to get married early in those days, prob. why it didn't last) but living in Brissie. Could only wish we were there.

Woodstock-I was 6 years old and living in the middle of Australia...at that stage, I had no idea there was anything outside of the in which town we lived!
I have since come to love the music of the sixties and have three copies of Woodstock, vinyl, dvd and cd! Particularly love The Mamas and Papas, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airship and most of all, Janis Joplin.

Now...where was I...
Living at home in Deniliquin with three of my siblings. Two elder brothers and my elder sister had already left home by then. I was about 15 and my parents were building a new house or had just finished building a new house. I had a big crush on the cabinet maker... he had wonderful blue eyes!

Hi all.
I was 14 living in the north east of England, place called Burnopfield, with my parents and siblings (3 brothers. Wasn't into music so probably was oblivious to Woodstock taking place.
There was a programme on the Tv the other night all about it, footage shot at the time. I wondered what all those people were doing now!

Hi Brenda, I am ok but still having health issues.
Yep the boat is up for sale but in this economic climate don't hold your breath.
Glad to hear that Lesley is improving, perhaps she might be interested in some Sudoku books when she is bored?

Took Hubby to the airport this morning. Why I had to drive home through the city at peak morning time instead of him getting the train I do not know.
Took me neighbour out to lunch for her birthday last week. We went to a local Nursery so I bought a few plants to put some colour in my front garden.
I have also got quite a bit more of the tall boy finished. Now working on the three large drawers then just the 4 small ones to do.
And like you Cyn, my sun room just has walk ways with all the drawers and everything everywhere. (My laundry is a bit the same but laziness is the excuse there)
Also Cyn, after you said your friends had traced you through Friends united I thought I should go and update my details with my changed Email address. Spent some time there but did not find anything new.

Another warm day here. T shirt weather. Got to 27*c in the sun room where I was working.
Might go and have an early night. Do not sleep well with Ken away so will probably be back here in the early hours.

Night June. I'm off to bed as well. Got one of those niggly headaches that just wont go away, so sitting here looking at a puter screen probably isn't the best thing to be doing.

Everybody. It sure is weird around here without MizTricia to spread cheer and coffee.
I had another bad night, but at least it wasn't h*llish. I still cannot lay down without going into coughing fits. The doctor warned me that on the first day, the high level of prednisone would probably keep me awake. It did. So I sat up and read most of the night, dozing off in the sitting position a couple of times.

I was 15 during Woodstock and not hip enough to be into any of that. I was a insecure Sophomore in high school and didn't find sex, drugs and rock-n-roll for a few more years (well - I did know about rock-n-roll) - pitiful, I know!
