I goofed, BIG TIME!!!!!!!

I was more concerned with reporting on Julie I did not look at the count. I have just ruined my perfect record of ZERO TOPP's.
It is all Julie's fault and I am going to yell at her when she is all better. I even tried to report it as abuse, but I guess you can't count your own post as being abusive.

I saw something nice that I'd never seen before yesterday. A school bus was stopped at a bus stop and the driver was escorting 2 very young children across a busy section of road. The person who usually meets them must have been delayed.

Sorry about your record but that is important news. It sounds like good news, bad news.

I have reported myself as abusive before when I've posted something I shouldn't have by mistake - I can't remember what, but something along the lines of information that could be used to find my kids.

OK I goofed. I reported my TOPP as abusive, got it removed, and still ended up with the TOPP. I still think I set a record that will not be topped (pun intended) 444 pages TOPPless.

Julie Update:
Spoke with husband this afternoon. Surgery went well. They already have her doing exercises with her new knees. The pain medication seems to be working better on the left knee than on the right knee. She has more pain on the right side. Husband is going to try to post here, but not sure if he remembers how. I did not speak to Julie, but he told me he was going to come on site and send an email. He was promptly corrected by Julie. It sounded like she is in good spirits and he sounded like a nice guy. I will call them back in a few days. I don't want to be a pest.

it is for a hotel not far from my house. If you look at the satelite image, to the left you will see Sawgrass Expressway, has 869 in a circle. The everglades are on the left of the expressway. If you draw a straight line to the right, I am about 2 kilometers directly to the right. I drive on the Sawgrass about once a week, so I see the everglades all the time, I don't actually go visit them often.

I am actually jealous of Brenda. The Florida Keys are one of my favorite places to visit and I don't get their very often. Last time I was in the keys was almost 6 years ago. It is only about a 2 hour drive to the top part of the keys and then another 2 to get to the bottom at Key West. For those who don't know, the Keys are a string of islands, like a tail, at the bottom of Florida.

Poor Tami. It's impressive that you got through 444 pages before you TOPPed, but I didn't think you could go 100%.

during my extra snooze time this morning ended up chatting to a friend (who's birthday it was yesterday, She was impressed that I had left a birthday message on her phone yesterday, on the actual Birthday day ~ we have this thing.. we always remember the birthday, but forget on THE day, and before you know it a week has passed !!!)
so as good friends do.. we chat about nothing really important but hey we do set the world right.. and I had a long chat with her about Mum.

Heidi, if I would have paid attention, I would not have posted. I was more interested in passing on the news than I was in checking. Many times I have not posted, waiting for someone to post. I could have logged in as my mom, said hello, and then logged in as me but that would be cheating.

Thanks everyone for pointing out the positive side to the events of my day yesterday, made me feel much better.

One day to go - I'm getting so excited - except for the weather here (stormy) and in Sydney (cooler than I hoped).
Got on-line this morning and checked in for our flight down, can't check in for the return flight until 7pm tonight - no 6pm our time, 7pm Sydney time. Yee Haa!

I forgot another family story from this week. When Ally started high school she joined the Speak Out Against Bullying Group (I wonder why). They made a movie yesterday. Ally played a bully, along with some other kids. In this movie the girl who is bullied commits suicide. They don't actually show that, just the kids saying 'did you hear' kind of stuff. Then the girl who died seems to come back as a ghost/angel, I never did find out why, but probably to tell the 'moral of the story'. That all sounded pretty grim to me, but Ally was all hyped and apparently they had fun making it???

I am getting closer and closer to buying a GPS thing tonight. Can you hear clucking? Waste of money for the amount of travelling we do, but hubby has wanted one for a while anyway so I might get one of the low end ones.

Sinuses acting up again, but it's not only me, the gal who does my nails, Mindy, has been bothered too. Some days are better than others for that...Our air quality here (which USED to be good) is now more like Los Angeles (Brown in color) YUCK!!!

I am the worst mother in the world. I wouldn't let my daughter sleep overnight at a friend's place tonight. They were planning to study and go to sleep early. She has to work tomorrow and Sunday and her exams start on Monday. I spoil all her fun!

The Bean has bombed out... But Vici is in Gail's safe hands so all is well... Spoke to June before ... I am so disappointed to be missing out on catching up with the Sydneyites...
Had a bit of a cold earlier in the week and it has settled on my chest... exacerbated my asthma and bronchial trouble!

Suzanne I would happily trade my sinuses in as well...NOT good! You have my sympathy.

My visitors arrived after a safe drive up from Melbourne. Still a bit to do in the morning but should be a very enjoyable day.
I had better get to bed or I will be too tired to enjoy the day.Ken will be somewhere in a plane between Paris and here. It will be nice to have hime back home as it has been a hard week.

ll. Getting ready to work the cattle in under an hour. All the calves get shots, and all the cows get pregnancy checks. Whoever is NOT pregnant gets sold next month. We still have to get them up into the holding pens, so I have to go now.

Well, the cows were the most cooperative that they've ever been. It went very smoothly for a change.

Tami... all of the cows are pregnant except 3 of my expensive registered purebreds. I'm hoping that the Vet was wrong about at least one of them. He HAS missed pregnancies before. There is one cow that he misses the diagnosis on every other year. And she produces a nice calf every year.

It has finally stopped raining for a minute.
Coffs Harbour has had 20 Inches of rain.
That is about 3 hours North of Port Macquarie.
We have had our fair share, about 8 inches I think.
