I have done the same thing with the a/c Cyn,it is confusing. So far we have only used the fans but today is meant to be our hottest for this summer.
Adelaide is really copping it.
Once again, hope all goes well today Lizzy.

Good Morning SA8.
Liz, thinking of you too, who will let us know you are OK?
Nola, yes selling the boat and will get another then, but this could take a long time as a boat cannot be changed like a house so someone will have to love it as much as I do.

Broni.... I wish I was near water, and not halfway around the world. I would LOVE that boat of yours. But living far from the ocean or Great Lakes, I can't justify it. Putting it in any body of water near here would be like putting it in my farm pond. It might be deep enough to float, but I couldn't go anywhere.

Good morning everyone!
Gail I'm very well, apart from a teeny broken arm, but hey, I've got a spare! ;)
Hope you cope ok with the heat Cyn - at least you have air-con now!
Not so hot in Melbourne today, but not seeing any sign of rain and we really need it. We're putting a bucket in the shower to collect some of the water, but it sure gets heavy! Also getting up early on watering days to give the garden a bit of help, but ... yesterday we ate our first home-grown snow peas! 4 each, and they were delicious! :D

Judy, a broken arm and hot weather do not go together! Sending hugs!
My vege garden is growing some noice weeds... It needs some work from hubby before I can even put soil in it so I'm guessing it will be winter veges.

Good maEn everyone!! Sending get well wishes to all those ailing...Get better soon.
Still cold here, supposed to be in the high 40's to low 50's by mid week, snow next weekend! Send me some warm weather thoughts! I hate winter!!! Darrell went to the Dr. today, he has a sore back and is on medicine, so no overtime or strenuous work for the next 2 weeks...he feels better, just annoying that it happened when he didn;t do anything stressful to cause it. Thanks for the good wishes for him. We both appreciate them. Take care all, TTFN

They're our Royal names on Facebook, Heidi.
Rolanda, Judy, Tami, me and Suzy. I wish you would come to the dark side and join Facebook - you can have your own zoo there!!
Storms all around us but looks like we should only get the edge of one. We just rescued a baby finch that the dog had baled up outside. While Col was trying to rescue it, it's poor frantic mother kept dive-bombing him. I hope they steer clear of our backyard and Jewel, the wonder dog.

Our dogs attacked another blue tongue yesterday Cyn. We carefully carried him out to the front garden and he wandered away, but I don't hold out much hope for him.
ROFL Cyn - you did it again! You've had me laughing a lot over the last couple of days (and I've needed it). Heidi can have her own farm if she joins facebook - hahahahahahaha

Gail - thanks for the news on Lizzy.
Broni - no, Shar (Madby) hasn't been around in ages. Might email her.
Suzy - it was a zoo not a farm that I tried to tempt Heidi with to come over to FB but probably just as ridiculous since she has worked in the real thing!

I spend WAY too much time on the pooter anyways. If I joined Facebook, I'd never get any work done here. Besides, if you haven't noticed, I'm trying to have a small zoo here already. Unfortunately, that Coy-dog has other ideas. He thinks it's a fast food restaurant. I bet FB doesn't have that kind of reality. (Real zoos have major problems with pet dogs and cats killing animals, as well as psycho people. I remember one sicko who smuggled in a bunch of fish stuffed with pointed sticks, and tossed them to our Sea Lions. Killed them all.)

Thanks Gail for the word on Lizzie - hope she sleeps well through the night.
I found out a friend of mine (whose health was not good when I left for Oz) is in the hospital and not responsive. I will visit her today after my meeting. I think she is on her way out. I hope to be able to talk to her and send her my love before she goes. So sad. She was on oxygen and still smoking. An awful way to go.

Gail - I'm still sleeping with my stuffed platypus... the life-size one. Another is in my car - then there is the keychain one (so cute) and the finger puppet platypus. What a joy it was to see those beautiful critters down-under.
