It is COLD outside today, and it's supposed to rain later. I'm trying not to imagine the mess we're gonna have in the yard. The ground is already totally saturated.

I didn't see any news about Julie and her rehab. Anyone know how she is doing?

Good afternoon Heidi! How is your animal kingdom? Can't believe you have to keep reporting for jury duty until you are picked! I hope it doesn't interfere with your holiday plans!

Need to LOTS of stuff done! Kids will be coming home for Thanksgiving starting with Bryana on Saturday. Jerry will pick her up since Ian is working at the craft fair at his school and Jerry doesn't want to go to that. Beside, I'll have to pick up Meghan on Monday and Brendan on Tuesday, 7 hours of driving each day. BUT first, some lunch. Have a great day!

The yard looks like a bomb hit it. We took the well pump in and had it tested... totally kaput! Had to buy a new one. And wouldn't you know, the warranty had just expired on the old one. At least we should have water tonight.

Broni... I'll go in when I can. I have to be here to supervise the guys. IH won't. Tomorrow I go back to the dentists for my new teeth. With jury duty called on Monday, I don't know what my schedule will be like.

When I said "WE" took the pump in, I meant we. The plumbers truck overheated as he pulled in here, so I had to drive them to the plumbing supply place. That wasted a good 2 hours.

I decided to switch my avatar to one more representative of today.

Nola, as I have said before, if positive vibes have anything to do with it, your sister Judy will pull through this. It worked for Bill, it is working for Liz and we are here whenever June asks for our help.

It is Winter here in Perth.. been WET WET, Windy, Cold, Stormy ....

Today,taking Mum to the Anesthetist, for Pre-Op Visit.
We've been told it will take 2-3 hours!!

Today is definitely NOT over.
I just had a shocker. I was starting to work on flinging food.... Lucky was laying near me. All of a sudden he went into a massive epileptic seizure!!! I'll have to get him to the Vet in the morning to start him on medications ASAP.
We also just found out that a dear friend just passed away. Massive heart attack. I was just with him a few days ago.

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been around recently but life and FB has been getting in the way. I haven't spoken to Julie for a while, I will call her tomorrow and check on her.
I am sending group hugs and wishes for all not feeling well.
I read all the posts but I do not remember everything. I will try to do a better job of keeping up with my friends in the future.

Horse story: The little old lady likes dry dog food.

Dog story: The dogs don't like the little old lady eating their dry dog food, but she thinks they are funny and their barks are cute.

My story: I can clap my hands really loudly which scares the little old lady away from the dogs' dry food.

Nola - my thoughts are with your sister, Judy as she faces this. I recently went throught similar with my sister's bowel cancer. I hope for as good a result as she got. Gail's right - positive vibes. (But - a sister is a sister - finger's crossed)
Heidi - what a day you've had - it must be nearly over now. I hope you have a better one tomorrow!

Lots of smoke in the air here but I haven't heard of any local fires. It must be travelling up from the south.

There are so many people in need of thoughts and wishes and vibes that I am starting to lose track of everyone. I'm going to have to write a list so I don't forget anyone when I'm sending out all of vibes I can...

Good news: It doesn't look like Alyssa needs glasses.

Bad news: That means we still don't know why she needs glasses.

Bad news: Hubby has bronchitis.

Good news: I got him to the doc and he now has antibiotics so will start to get better soon.

Shoot, I should proofread BEFORE I hit submit, the above makes absolutely no sense at all. We don't know why Ally is getting so many headaches!
