Just stopping by before heading to bed.
Cyn, did you find any medium animals to breed? So far I only have the owl and the octopus.(sorry folks about the zoo talk!) I'm trying to get vdv to reveal all his secrets. He's certainly the king of the zoo!

Good afternoon - lovely visit with Mum today and her new friend and fellow patient Peter. Note - nothing untoward going on here - he just thinks Mum's his sister!?!? They seem to share their individual childhood memories. They're happy, what can you say?
Stella - I can still only find the owl and the octopus so am breeding them again. Every new animal I buy, if it can be bred, I buy a second one but they're always a different difficulty level. Bit boring.
Tami - wish a big Happy Birthday to Dylan and remind him he was chatting to me on Skype recently - Hope he has a great day!
Great news that Julie is doing well - it will be nice to hear from her.

Stella - not sure that vdV has any big secrets to divulge - he's just further advanced that we are -I'm heading to $40mill today. I found one zoo worth $160mill - absolutely covered in trees and it had about 10 of each animal.

Was that zoo vdV's? How strange that they consider octopi to be easy to breed in zoos. I think I'd rather collect the real animals.

I was NOT woken up this morning at the crack of dawn by a phone call saying my cows were out!!!!!!! That had gotten a bit annoying.
I spent too many hours trying to catch animals that weren't mine.

Morning all. Up early to water. Didn't need to water the 'outside' plants or the vegie garden, the heavens did that for me. I just did the hanging pots and the pots on the verandah. Nice and chilly out there :)

Gail, I bought the new HP yesterday - Coles had a deal that you could buy it for $5 if you bought $100 worth of groceries. Who could resist? Haven't watched it yet though.
Broni, have a wonderful time! I hope it's nice and cool out on the water.
Nola, your sister sounds like a very special lady. My thoughts and wishes and vibes are added to everyone else's for this week and beyond.

Gail - so happy about your rain - hope the rest of Oz gets some of that.
Suzy - appointment is over, it's all good - and the best part is I don't go for another year!
Enjoying the house to myself - Mr. VV is at his daughter Ali's home for several days to help with some home improvement projects.

Good morning lovely people.
Lizzy - so glad that you called in to let us know you were home. Now take care and - don't be a hero. Strange - my sister did just that recently after her op.
Nola - I feel for your sister, having to deal with what's happening to her as well as having to put her beloved pooch down. I am glad she was able to shed tears - good therapy.
Heidi - no jury & no escaping animals - woo hoo!!
Suzy - I just heard about the $5 HP deal at Coles, apparently Woolworths have a special edition, double disc pack for $10 odd with purchases over $80.
Gail - glad you got enough rain to water your garden. I wish it was cool here. Already 28C at 8.30am.
Broni - enjoy you weekend on the boat in our beautiful bay.
Vici - I, too, hope your annual 'ladies' doc visit had good results. (2 weeks ago today we were all in Sydney!)
Hello to anyone else I've missed.

Liz, hope you are feeling better and not being a hero.
Nola, hope Judy is still coping okay. Sending vibes our for next week.
Cyn, how is your sister doing?

Suzy - thanks for asking about my sister. She said the other day she's just starting to feel 'normal' after nearly 6 weeks. I think she's had some discomfort - but, not wanting to sound unsympathetic - being an retired nurse, she knows too much and every twinge, to her heralded some post-op complication. She's my sister and I love her but she can be high-maintenance.
My poor hubby has spent the day putting up Xmas lights in the sweltering heat. I'd better make sure I make him his favourite dinner tonight - or whatever I make, I'll tell him it's his favourite - hehehe.

Dropping in without reading. My nieces made the best speeches...
My Dad had a tough start to life losing his father when he was only 10... I can't imagine being without him... sob... he said his mother did a great job raising the three of them alone... sob...
The sobs were my nieces, though I have to admit to a bit of tearing on the side...

Advice: If you open the freezer to take out the bottle of wine you are taking to the party, and it starts to roll out and heads for the floor - don't stick out your foot to break it's fall...

OH NO Suzy! Having a Zusy moment?
The speeches sounded like they were very heartfelt.
I visited my friend who is dying yesterday. She was all alone as her family had to head back East again. I know Evie is hanging on (she's a skeleton now, and only receiving oxygen and pain meds) because she is afraid of dying.
When I was with her yesterday, at one moment she opened her eyes a big (I was close to her at this point) and asked if she was going to die. She had such a troubled look on her face.
I was heartbroken and mute at first. Then I told her that we all lived on forever and that I would always be with her. I know this is her belief as well as mine, but I'm sure it is easier to hold when one is not near the end of this physical life. I stayed as long as I could, but eventually had to leave her all alone again.
So sad.
