It was mentioned on the radio news this morning and people thought it was a joke.

There are a LOT weirder fish out there than that.

I did something really stupid this morning. I hadn't gotten to sleep until 7 am, and was woken up at 8:45 by a phone call. It was a friend with a problem. A fence of his was damaged, and he asked me if I could take care of his stallion for a few days. Being sleep deprived, I said yes. He'll be over in about an hour with the horse. This means a lot more work, 'cause he'll have to be kept separate.

Morning SA8. A new day, wonder what this day will bring, oh yes, much the same as all the other days me thinks, washing, vacuuming, ironing, baking etc.

Brenda, that fish is amazing! It's almost a frog... The way it moves reminds me of something, I wish I could remember what.

I didn't like the sound of it either.

I must have done something right. The stallion isn't coming. The owner sold it to someone who REALLY wanted it. So now I got the credit for offering, without having to do the work.

Sorry to hear about your aunt. Strokes seem to be the 'latest' thing, don't they? I hope her recovery goes smoothly and she regains her word use. Have they said why she had it and what will be done about it?

Hopefully will get the painting finished here too. We were going to do it yesterday but decided not to hang around. Luckily we can apply the second coat in two hours, so if all goes to plan...
