And now, I must be off to bed. Ruby, you are definitely a night owl, as it's approaching 2 am in your neck of the woods. Good night/day, Everyone. See you on the other side.

I know gasoline is petrol, but it sounded like you were purchasing for heating your homes. Since it's so cold here I may have imposed that on my reading. Excuse me. Besides that, it's spring there. Gosh, what a brain fart I had!
I am going to bed. Good night.

Time to put the lawn mowers out to the paddock.
Probably won't be back later as hubby will want to study. You never know though, I could sneak in, so don't talk about me!

Forgot earlier! As well as being burgled while home and a car broken into, we have also had 2 cars stolen. A 1988 Honda Prelude in 2001, and a 1985 Tarago in 2008... We got both back.

Why are YOU up at this hour, MizT???? Dogs woke me up, and I decided to track the progress of the pigeons on the USPS website. Then I figured that I had better look in here, so I don't have so many pages to catch up on later.
I think I need more sleep. I thought I heard all you LADIES talking about brain farts!!!

I have a VAGUE idea what a brain fart is now...
- a.k.a. a senior moment. An inelegant way of saying, "I forgot"
- Brainfart (or brain fart) is a neologistic expression denoting a degree of mental laxity, colourfully clothed in neuroflatulent metaphor.
Apparantly I have them all the time and didn't even realise it!!!
I do know what a bottom burp is though..hehe

Well, you will all be pleased to know that I was successful in my on-line auction and I ended up with only one tree. I checked my bidding history and had bid on a total of 8 trees...no wonder I got confused at one stage and ended up with 3 on the go!!! My system works well providing the internet connection doesn't flicker on and off. Now I have to work out where to put it..it is quite a bit bigger than our old one!!

Tricia I'm going to make a 'special' Bean salad for the Rena meet and greet...must write out the recipe

OH Bean, wish I could come and help you decide where to put yur tree. I LOVE decorating trees! I will put mine up after Thanksgiving, the DAY after, it is my tradition. you said yours had lights? and what do you put on it? The tree I put up last year was bigger than the year before, and made for a tight squeeze through one door into that room where you fling food, but since we have 2 doors it was OK. I have a photo of my little tree, I know where that is I think. Not sure if I ever took a photo of the big tree. Wanna see?

It is a good quality artificial...I'm through with real ones [unless they are in pots]..don't like chopping trees down. Will gather up some pine needles to get the 'smell' and bye the time there is a bit of tinsel and glitter about you won't tell the difference.
How big..probably far too big...6'H[182cm] x 53'W[134cm]....I will have to tidy the lounge room and clear LOTS of boxes to fit it in...it is too big to put where we often have the tree in the family room....

Oh Bean, there are some things that are important enough to have lights. I willhave them on my tree, it feeds my soul, but I will reduce the usage. You see, I am part plant, i need light. without it I get droopy, and these winter months are a bit dark. Wonder if I dould buy those LED lights, they use almost no juice? but would I use less total energy just using and reusing the ones I have, decisions decisions.

I'd love to see it Tricia...I keep buying decorations and have far too many for the old tree so I will be right with this except I will need new lights...our current lights are really only good for a 4' tree. I love red and gold decorations on a green tree....will post a picture on my page once it is up and decorated. i do have splashes of other colours...not real theme to the type of decorations...just have to be pretty and the bigger the wow factor the better...
