Bean, your tree is a lot bigger around than mine. I have a small space, and my tree is 6 foot tall, but small around, I wold have to measrue, I have a skinny tree hehehe. It fits where I can put it. would LOVE to have a tree like Stella and family put up, I THINK it is stella, magnificent, but more work than I can do.

I love decorating the tree...open a bottle of fizz and drag out the nibblies...there is nothing I like better than turning on the lights...I love the hanging curtains of strings of lights...one year I had them hanging from the windows in the family room and I think I will probably do the same thing this year..

Bean, yes, will go back to sleep, just waiting for the sand man again. Looks like I can only sleep about 2 hours at a time at the present, but I do it about 3 or 4 times!

Yes, interested in the subject or object of your dreams Bean.

OH, I forgot to tell you, I like my tree to be tall, and Al built me a box/platform to set it on. I have a theme tree, mostly cause I could not as a child when I first saw such things. kind of a statement, now I am all grown up and I can have any kind of tree i want.

I have a lot of Swarovski crystal tree ornaments which look fantastic with the white lights shining on them, other decorations are silver and turquoise.
I too will need to think where my tree will go this year as I have a fish tank where it used to stand

The Swarovski crystals are bought for me for xmas by Richard. Have a look at this site to see What they look like

Each year they have a new design I must have 9 or 10 of these now. the other decorations came with the tree and while they are pretty they are nothing special. It will be a few weeks until we put our tree up but will try to get a photo done

and everyone.
Two of the pigeons arrived safe and sound this morning. This was a pair of silver Giant Runts. We're trying to track down the other pair, Old German Owls.

I am now going back to bed. Toodle-oo!

HEIDI, thanks muchly, I am almost ready for that mono, but not today thank you! I have managed a bit more sleep, as long as it gets better each night I am good. You seem to be up and about more in the daylight this week, does this mean you are better, or you have to get up and take care of stuff no matter what?

HEIDI, BEST of luck finding those pigeons. I worry about them being misplaced when weather is soo very cold. Speaking of cold, need to see how cold it is outside here, and then see if Phantom is wanting to eat, He needs more food for energy and heat being outside on a night like this, but there are warm protected places if he chooses to use them. Should I look on the internet for the temp or stick my nose out the door?

Good morning all! Too many pages to catch up!

MizT, your hottie photo is gorgeous! I just love those types of portraits.

Heidi, I can't believe you still haven't gotten all of your pigeons. Hope you get them soon.

Rolanda, Rena, Amber, hope you're having a great visit. Take lots of pics!

Bean, are you decorating your tree already? We'll go and cut down our tree after Thanksgiving before the kids go back to school. I prefer to have the kids decorate the tree because I have to take it down, but only Ian will be around and I don't think he will help much with the others gone.

Ian has a soccer game this afternoon but I'm not sure he will be able to play. He hurt the ball of his foot somehow and it's getting worse. It hurts to put pressure on it. The doctor said to rest it, but that it easier said then done. I leave it up to him to decide because the injury is not visible and only he can tell what he can do.

MizT, as far as theme trees go, I think they look pretty. I love Disney so I have a table top tree that has all of my Disney ornaments on it. I took pictures of it to send the girls the ornament postcards so they could have a Christmas tree on their dorm walls.

I'm not decorating already..I am just determined that this year I won't be decorating it on Christmas eve!!! Problem is it will probably take me until then to clear out the junk to put it up!!
Brenda the Swarovski crystal decorations look really beautiful...would love to have a collection of those. Maybe it is time I started collecting them...
Time I hit the hay!

To catch up with page 11:
It was only my car and it seemed like a random act of vandalism. There was nothing of value in the car and nothing was taken. The only funny part, I have a small stuffed spongebob squarepants figure hanging from my rear view mirror. They ripped him down and hung him from my windshield wiper. The police think it was probably a group of kids and that when they saw spongebob they picked my car.
Out of 8 windows on my van, 4 were destroyed completely and 2 were scratched up. There is also some minor scratches on the body and inside. I posted a picture of the front windshield on my page if anyone is interested in seeing the damage.

Broni, re: page 12. I am over it. I took today off work to deal with all the insurance issues. It will cost me $100 us dollars for the deductible. The insurance company is towing my car to their shop, arranging for me to have a rental and I will pick up my repaired and cleaned out car soon. They will clean up all the shattered glass that is in the car. Hubby vacuumed a lot of it last night and still could not get it all out. The bricks they used to smash with are still in the car, at least one of them are.

Thank you to everyone who sent hugs. It really helped cheer me up. I am over it already, I just hope they catch the kids. Got the insurance solved. They are picking up car and giving me a rental. Life goes on.

The pigeons have been found!!! They are now at our county seat (Abraham Lincoln's Birthplace), and I am going out the door to fetch them now.

MizT... it's both. I am sleeping a bit less, and I have stuff to do.... no matter what. I get very scared tho', when I drive. For the first time in my life, I find myself getting drowsy behind the wheel.
