I just posted a condolence on the Kiser Funeral Home website. I checked again for obituaries, but still nothing. Below the 3 listed is a form for sending condolences. I created a new email address without my last name to use. I only filled in Julie from IL, USA as my name and only my email address and the deceased's name as Mary Anne Edwards. I tried to explain my connection to Ruby, explained that was how I knew her and called her Ruby throughout the message. I sent it in hopes that it would be extended to Ruby's family and friends today at the memorial service.

June - IRON??? What is that? I have lost mine among the boxes of stuff moved to this house about 4 years ago. By the way, I haven't missed it. I hope you enjoy a ride on the water. (Sure beats walking on the water.)

Now, I must get ready for an appointment. Hope to see everyone later! (Though when I get home, I have TONS of ffuts to do to get the house ready for an appointment at home tomorrow afternoon. RATS! (No, I don't have rats or mice, even - just don't want to be bothered with cleaning now.)

Afternoon All...What a wonderful group of folks to be a part of...Thanks to all who have extended our information about Ruby's untimely passing. I left a message on friendly's page in hopes that it would be shared with any family members she may have had. If I have an opportunity, I shall add to the memorial page.
Heidi, Thanks for the flowers being sent with our inclusion..such a thoughtful and generous thing to do...and its much appreciated.
I raise a glass in Ruby's memory...May she rest with the angels...

Good morning SA7, I too have tears welling in my eyes but they are for this wonderful group of friends that I have found here, I am proud to be a part of.
Gail if I know Heidi repayments will be delayed until we all meet.
Know someone asked about Rayray and he has not contacted me as yet. Neither have I seen Brenda on these pages recently.

Like the rest of you, I am still stunned. Thanks to Heidi for organising the flowers and to Suzy for setting up the page. Does anyone have the link to the funeral home's website condolences page.
I think we owe a debt of gratitude to friendly for finding a way to let us know. I noticed you invited him/her to come to the SA7 page, Gail. Lovely idea.

Girls, this is so sad. We lost Lynda earlier in the year and now Ruby. I don't think others understand how close we get on these pages. I look forward to getting on every day and miss it when I can't. It's like chatting to old friends, sharing good times and bad. Doesn't matter who's on line at the time. We're all there for one another. Tears in my eyes.

Cyn...have checked Suzy's last post and on the page she set up there is a box...CONTACT HOST....if you click on that a box comes up where you can leave a message.

I also sent friendly a personal message last night inviting him/her to come join us here as we reminisce about Ruby...I also said a whole lot more...you know what I am like! I also invited them to share anything else [details etc] by PM if possible...to help us all with the shock that we feel.

On the left click on obituaries/e condolences. Scroll to bottom of page that comes up and you will find the form for sending a message.

I received a PM from friendly, and answered it. (S)he mentioned she had helped Ruby with a video Ruby had made for the group. I know before her illness Ruby had planned this video presentation and "coming out" to let all know she was not RUBY and was not really from RUBY but from a nearby town.

I asked if friendly still had access to that video and could post it to a page so we all could see Ruby, as a fitting tribute to her here on the board. I have not received an answer yet.

I take a nap, and you are all so busy.
Nobody owes me anything for the flowers. It was something that I could do to help. I feel that you are all doing much more than I did. I need to go check out that condolence page, Suzy. Sounds wonderful... I will look a little later.... but I slept past feeding time and will have to feed in the dark.... in an ice storm...... Ugh.
