I THINK that sounds like a good idea..... but there has to be a catch somewhere.
Do you think she'll let Suzy get to say another word in here while she visits?

Thanks for the anniversary wishes Gail, and the welcome back Suzy.
Suzy, I think D1's report card might be age relevant! I've seen it so many times before. Being busy with after school stuff might not help either, but my daughter also has a lot of after school stuff, but will always make time to get her school stuff done first, just like S1. S2 is a different story. I'm still battling him with groundings, removing pleasurable activities, bribery, meeting with his teachers midterm....you name it, I've tried it. I've already told him that next year, I'll be meeting each of his teachers in about Week 3 to give them time to know who he is. I will demand to be told if he is not making good use of school time, not doing his homework etc.

Hello everyone! Just popping in for a minute before I brave the shopping again. I seem to be doing fine at the moment - going down to see if JB is still open. I love JB - I can spend hours there. And dollars...! :)

Yeah, I know Bean, blame someone who isn't around to defend herself!! I'm trying to blacken the background of a stained glass image now. You weren't exaggerating when you said it was time consuming!
S1 convinced me to change my browser to Chrome from IE. Now it automatically does spell check on my comments.

Well that was fun. After finally getting the smiley blackened up, I can't resize it to 5o manually through Paint, and going to the Create Avatars site just makes it a black square.

Susan, you are the second person I have heard mention Chrome. You like it?
Just had to go through a crash course geek lesson here. Couldn't save my smilies for some reason, so had to go through the whole process with hubby, him trying to tell me why things weren't as they always had been! Apparently when you save different type things, it changes where your new files go...Who Knew!!!

Hi girls.
Wondering if anyone can help me with the query please. Neighbour has a Samsung A411 mobile phone.
When he receives messages and reads them, the words do not automatically fit to the edge of the screen. They are broken up.
As a result when I send him a message he thinks I am talking gibberish.
An example, the first line would be:
How is your gar
den growing? It splits the words up.
Any help would be appreciated, he has even gone to the Telstra shop earlier today and no one can help him. I have one more thing to try but just thought one of you might know.

Unfortunately, you are talking to the wrong person here...hang on, will ask hubby.
Nup, sorry. Sounds like something to do with the font size or some sort of 'do not split words' option that is not turned on possibly.
D#1 said she might be home later and she knows Samsungs so I will ask her then.
Other than that, I would have said get a new phone! The kids seem to change theirs every five minutes!

Good thanks mate. Hubby and I went and propped up the nation's finance coffers! Did the shopping for the fortnight, but still have fresh stuff to get on Wednesday...already ordered but not paid for!
Still have to go through the itty bits and bobs to see who gets what, so more helping the nation's economy during the week.

Speaking of serviettes etc, I better go check that the grocery fairy has put everything away. Doubt it though, hasn't for the last twenty years! Have to rearrange the freezer to try and jam more stuff into it.
I have a very large 'to do' list for these holidays...a lot of stuff needs to get thrown out. It's time!
Catch you later, enjoy your soak.
