It's getting to be about nap time again.

Happy Afternoon All...One more sleep with an early rising and I get to leave these cold environs for the warmth of Florida...I'm hoping the current icy conditions don't impede my getting out of here...
I thought that I would have been able to get to all of your pages with individual greetings...but alas.the best laid plans often don't work..So please accept my best wishes for a safe, happy and prosperous new year and a joyous holiday season...Christmas for many, but not all...May you continue to be surrounded by loving family and friends...and I'd like to include my thanks most especially for being the wonderful friends during tough times to many...me included. Your compassion and support makes life bearable when others wonder if they can hold on....I'm so happy to be a part of such a great community... Happy Holidays All!

Dropping in without reading, just no time to catch up today. Our Christmas party is on. Great nephew recovered quickly as only children can do. His Mom is better and noone else has tured up sick today YEAH! Neice in GA is not expected to come, double pneumonia, bronchitis and pleurisy. she has been one sick young lady!

I have cooked all morning, Al was a big help. Our house guests slept in, in fact, they still have not emerged today and it is 2 pm. AGHHHHH, just glad we have a guest room in the dome, and not in the house.

Al helped me so much today, sh spent 4 hours in K being my helper, and he is a good second chef!

Morning Rolanda. What is the weather like over your way? We have had cool,rain,windy and hot !!!

Busy here, washing, ironing, avoning etc. etc.
Talk about the 'silly season'.

At last, all the cooking is finished, tonight, everyone is on their own for dinner, leftovers in the fridge, help yourself. I have cooked all day and nope, refuse to cook a meal for dinner tonight.

Weather will be warm, 72 tomorrow, I shall hunt a warm weather Christmas outfit. No way I can wear my Christmas sweater vest, too warm. I have a nice pinky red pants and jacket, and a white or cream T, that should about do it, will need the jacket coming home I think.

I am tired and ready for bed, and it is not going to happen early tonight, we have gift exchange after dinner and they are not even here for dinner yet! they had to go shopping!

I am glad our daughters live far away and visit only occasionally, I do think we would have issues if they were here all the time. I really have no problem if they wait till the last minute to do everything, not until it keeps me up past my bedtime! I am old and set in my ways and by gosh I have earned the right!

I've gotten all the feeding done except dogs and people. !!!
I caught another big Opossum in the barn. It was sneaking through the cat flap into the feed room to eat the cat food. It won't do that again.
