(I can only use the small tractor to take out the trash. No cab. But the bucket is shaped correctly to hold two 96 gallon trash cans. The bucket on the big tractor has a lip on top that prevents me from carrying the big cans.)

And one choice was omitted from our vote. Have you all forgotten that young pic of our own Rayray? DOUBLE swoon!

My Hubby has redeemed himself! He came home and took over the defrost job! Nothing for me to do till the freezer was all shiny clean and free of ice. He did it in record time too. The popcorn popper lost it's job. He got his electric heater he uses to heat his office, set it on top of one of the ice chests blowing into the freezer, put towels in the bottom of the freezer and on the floor to contain any water, and it was finished in 2 hours! He had a plastic putty knife, and each time he could hear ice turning loose and falling, he went and scraped up all that was turning loose, and put into a plastic box. He told me to come back at 1 pm, and when I did, he was wiping the inside of the defrosted freezer! Even found some cleaner out there and cleaned the door shelves! I think I need to do something very nice for that man!!

I put everything back, and for the first time in forever, it is sorted so I know what is where and what I have. I needed to get all the venison we had on one shelf, so it can be used first. I left the biggest shelf empty so we could put the new venison on it. Fruit in one section, veggies in another, and a place for milk and bread too. I am soo happy that job is over and done for this year! perhaps later this afternoon we will see if we can procure some venison. I hope they have some today.

Now Heidi, you just stay away from Ray Ray. He and I have an understanding. IF we had met when we looked like our photos, we would have been an item. hehehe

OH, Heidi, bet it was a cold trip out to the road with the trash cans then, in the small tractor. Brrrrrr. Today has warmed up nicely here. If I could find a sunny spot with no wind blowing, I could sit out in shirt sleeves I think. The sun feels very warm today.

I saw the weather forecast while having lunch, local news, and they mentioned the S word for later this week, but only "flurries". Maybe that is not enough to mandate a trip to the grocery for everyone.

I had been planning on taking some cows to the stock market tomorrow morning, but I'm going to postpone it for 1 week. Dangerous to drive pulling a stock trailer, and the weather discourages the buyers, so lower prices.

Another warm day here.
I discovered last night I had put the wrong delivery date on my Avon stickers and had already stuck them on all the brochures.
I am just printing out some more to stick over the top.
Have to go out and do some messages and think I will go to Cafe 66 for some and crosswords this morning.

Good morning lovely SA7 people.
MizT - love you SVD avatar - pretty! Ah, I remember the days of defrosting.
I'm sure Rayray would get all our votes and he would now be blushing.

I put the dog in there as a joke and she's got 2 votes (hands up Broni and June). She's my dog but I'd prefer George as a pet.

Heidi - Clive Owen is a Britisn actor but in recent years he's been getting some good roles in big films. Here's a link.

Well life is never dull at work. D&D are now both on holidays, have left me no instructions on how they plan on paying our wages tomorrow, looks like our other branch will have its internet cut off if we don't pay the bills, insurance last November still not paid. God I love my job!

Morning all!

Second attempt to post. My internet connection is a pain in the tush today (and yesterday).

Broni – fire them! D&D are obviously incompetent employees and should be given the sack!

Cyn, I haven’t taken my decorations down yet either. I will start soon, but there’s no rush.

Judy, I love your chocolate tactics! I’ll have to remember that next year…. I have read more in the last couple of weeks than I have all year. Up to my 5th book and loving it! Any way you can put some of your daughter’s pictures on your page? I’d love to see them.

Gail, you too! I would love to see toy elephants too!

Cyn and Judy, I am addicted to resizing photos too. Yesterday I resized a few, put them on here and emailed them to OS family.

MizT, I hope as I catch up with the posts that you mention what ‘freezing fog’ looks/feels like. I’ve never heard of it either! Oh, there you go, Heidi knows all about it. Sounds brrrrrrr…..

Julie, I saw you drop in, but so far you didn’t get back – hope you are having a great day! There you are, heading off to get horizontal! And you’re back again! I have been ‘absent’ for too long if people can come and go twice while I’m gone. If I keep it up someone else will get a word in edgewise!

All this talk about empty next syndrome! I’ve got years and years and years to go yet…

Viv, Ethan isn’t old enough to have done all the stuff they’re talking about yet. Your time may come!

MizT they cannot afford not to come back unless they skip the country. It would mean they would lose their houses and all they have worked for. They just keep on pouring money into the business but have done nothing constructive (apart from reducing my hours) to turn the business around.

Welcome back Kate!

Broni, a stressful time for you... Do you have a way of contacting them while they are away or will someone have to break the news to everyone that there is no pay this week?

About to find out Zusy, just collating all the dramas before I attempt to phone them. They haven't done any banking in the last week and a half so I may have to pay everyone cash. Hopefully one of them can find an internet cafe, although I think one of them is out on their boat.
