As you can see I love using the smilies.
But I have noticed over on Easy they mostly use the smaller ones if at all.

VIV, I must have the sewing smilie! May I "borrow" from you? For days I am sewing. I did not get much time to sew yesterday, it was our shopping trip day, we were out from mid morning till dinner time. I had to clean fridge before grocery shopping, so, a busy day. Sorry I mentioned KROW, I will go wash my mouth!

Did you see, I put a link to a slide show of photos from the ice storm in KY? Those photos are beautiful, but can see how much ice there is in some of them.

Now I must go and put the car in the garage, that was where I was packaging up the Avon.
Ethan has just got home from his shift at the fish and chip shop and is having a shower.
I cannot wait to have mine, hot and sticky here today but not as hot as Gail etc.
I am looking forward to sleeping in the air conditioned bedroom I can tell you.

Ally had practice tonight. She had one yesterday and I have to admit I cringed. It was sad. Tonight I deliberately decided not to stay, but I snuck back later and stood outside the window so she didn't know I was there. She rocked!!!! If she can sing that well next weekend she will be fine...

Good morning all! Don't have time to catch up. I'm leaving in a few minutes to pick up Bryana from school for a long weekend. Not looking forward to the trip because I didn't sleep well last night and have a headache. She's excited because she's getting her hair cut by a hairdresser for the first time. She's wants bangs and I wouldn't dare attempt them on her.

Hope the photos of the ice storm will bring a bit of relief to the Aussies in the heat wave.

Just checked in before going to bed and glad I did - those pics were magnificent - except, I guess, if you were there and lost power, heating and water like Heidi. Thanks MizT.

MizT the photos are beautiful, but would hate to be in the area without power. Hopefully Heidi has managed to get her open fire working. Mmmmmmm sitting snuggly in front of an open fire with nothing to go out for would be great. Unfortunately as we know Heidi isn't in that position. Hope she is coping ok.

Oh forgot to say I have finally finished knitting an aran cardigan I began 3 yrs ago. To be honest it has been in the back of a cupboard for at least 2.5 of those years.

Congrats on finishing the cardigan, Brenda - must feel great to have that done. Safe travels to your SIL...wish I were going with!

It is time for a break here, I am still slowly putting away provisions we brought in yesterday. Just the canned goods, but I am rearranging pantry as I do it, so I can put the new stuff behind the old stuff. Would not want things hiding in closet and getting out of date!

It seems cool in the house, it has become cloudy and the wind hasz returned. I might need my hoodie.

I love the light weight jogging jackets, have them in velor and sweat shirt fabric. I just wish I could find them without the hoods. Would we call those un-hoodies? rarely do I use the hoods. If it is cold enough to need head and ears covered, it is cold enough for a heavier jacket. Just my 2 cents worth hehehe.

I have been doing paperwork today. Hate paperwork, but it needed doing. again. Seems ongoing, this exchange of information with people you do not even know!

Then in Adelaide & Melbourne they are sweltering.

MizT, Ebob uses those hoods to hide under. I've seen her wearing the hood on hot days! I just look at her and ask if she's having a bad hair day, she usually takes it off then.

Nola I agree. It might not feel lucky when I try to do gardening and end up 'glowing', but then I try to imagine what 45C or -15C feel like and don't complain!

I am opening so many links my tabs are getting teeny tiny and it's hard to see what they are. This page is now 'Sud...'.
