Ally's bags are packed - though I wasn't allowed to look in them so I hate to think what she has packed...
The alarm is set for 5.45 am.
Ebob got a cake and a present.
Hubby had a stressful day.
I did an emergency run to KMart at 8.30pm when we realised we didn't have a working torch.

I will pass on the birthday wishes to Ebob. She will be jazzed...

Broni, hubby has to head up to Moss Vale right on 6.30 to get there on time. Ally is catching a bus from the school which doesn't leave until 7. I hope to be home by 7.15 which gives me a half an hour with Ebob before her bus...

The ORANGE looks more like Adobe at night. So during the day it is brighter than we thought, at night it is what we thought we were going to get. Bean told me to look for that!

At least I think it was Bean... guess I should look on that other page to check. Na, tomorrow will do!

Forgot, heard a young boy ask his mother about the smoke in the air here and she told him it was from Victoria - just like I said earlier. One day I will go to google earth and work out how far that smoke has travelled.

All of this talk of painting and I think I'll get back to the painting project I started last year. Also, Suzy, your bold choice in color has inspired me to perhaps take a chance with the bathroom and do something similar. We'll see!

Heidi, I never knew that teeth could be made out of cubic zir. How do they match the color to your teeth? Is it a cap or is it bound to your broken teeth? You must post a picture!

Morning Stella, good to see you this morning. It is a lot colder there than here, but that is as it should be! We are at 37 (3C) going to 60 (15C) today which is about normal for February.

Suzy, I have been wondering, are you seeing smoke or smelling smoke? Couple of years ago, a long burning fire in the Florida everglades, and we got smoke enough here to cause eye and breathing problems. Distance about 500 miles or more, depends which part of the 'glades was burning. It is a big place. I had to buy and use eye drops. We did not really see smoke, just a bit of a haze.

OH WOW, lots of parties being planned for Keith, that is great. I hope they like BBQ hehehe

all. Woke up 4 hours ago with a serious headache. I've already had 4 Excedrin Migraine, and it's starting to help. I was woken up by a friend asking me a big favor. His wonderful wife is having a nervous breakdown, and cannot handle their cats acting like cats do. He asked me if I could take 4 cats. Since I adore both him and his wife, I said yes..... though it will bring my cat population up to 17.

Stella... the teeth have a coating of the regular stuff crowns are made of... in color C2 (matches the rest of 'em). They look like normal teeth, only stronger. I had never heard of Cubic Zirconia for teeth either.

Ebob!!! I hope you enjoy your extended 2 day Sudokuland Birthday celebration.

It was smoky/hazy in Sydney yesterday too. I did not notice but my neighbour said they had smelt the smoke and were checking for any fires around. (There were non here)

Morning June, I could see it more than smell it, it was hanging around in the trees.

We have a Lion's Club meeting in 4 hours.... it's at a local restaurant, so I will get to use the new front teeth! I am SO happy with them.

I can't stay long,have to load palm fronds and tree cuttings into a blue skip bin.Tried doing it yesterday but it was just too hot for me so will do it while the day is still cool.

It is unreal that you can see or smell the smoke in Sydney!They still have a tough time ahead in Victoria.Last night I had a cry watching RSPCA Animal Rescue when they had to put down animals that were burnt in the fires.Those vets are doing a wonderful job,even though some of their clinics have been burnt down.

It's been a long haul with them. I broke off the front tooth on Christmas.

I have an empty house!

Fire crews on Wednesday will work to consolidate containment lines around existing bushfires ahead of what's expected to be the worst fire day since Black Saturday.
With temperatures expected to soar to 38 degrees celsius and powered by strong and changing winds, every effort is being made to prepare for another horror day on Friday, Victoria's Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) said.
Fresh teams of firefighters are being drafted in from interstate and overseas with the threat of new blazes breaking out.

Yes Brenda, Victoria has suffered more than enough. Every day I hope to find the threats have all passed but not yet it seems.

Well am all dressed ready here to go and do some messages. Wish I could get rid of this headache.

I'm home again... Ebob forgot her money for sport. I told her that since it was her birthday I would bring it to her.

I then decided that, since I was in town anyway, I would pick up the local paper (only comes out 3 days a week). One of the kids' favourite clothing shops had 50% off clothing that was already on sale. I got about $150 worth of clothes to add to Ebob's present for about $35!! Boy am I glad she forgot her money...
