Yes, my baby is sweet 16 today. I think I told you what she asked for - ears pierced, eye liner, nail polish, books... and a baseball helmet! Neither of the girls can work out why we think that is funny.

I have just discovered there are photos of Ally on facebook... They are photos of the group she sings with as a reserve. I will have to check other people's pages to see if she is there too...

Good morning lovely SA7 people - I'm not here this morning, off to the hairdresser to cover up the grey with the dark blonde that is not really my natural colour which was dark brown. I hate getting older!
Broni - count me in for the Keith gathering - and Colin - assuming partners are included.

Back from the meeting. I need to check cows and feed dogs, and maybe even go to bed early. I want to harness up Challenger and go for a drive tomorrow. It's supposed to be Spring-like weather.

Ebob wants a copy of a song, the problem is she doesn't know what it's called or who sings it. Patting myself on the back here - I found it!!! Based on one line in the song... I'm so clever...

Kaiser Chiefs, Never Miss a Beat, and the line is "It's cool to know nothin'"

I have a picture of Mitchell holdin Dylan when Dylan was about 2 hours old. My MIL sat Mitchell in a chair and placed Dylan in his lap. She stayed within a foot of Mitchell and let him hold the baby long enough for us to take a picture. Mitchell was so excited about being a big brother.

How quickly can you paper mache up a statue for Keith to stand or sit next to?

Not here, logging off everything. Still have to ice a cake (cooling now - will go well with Rolanda's cheesecake) and then go pick up Ebob from school for our wicked iced chocolates...

ROLANDA, congrats on the decent rain today! I know you need it also.

Fingers crossed weather and fires do not get as bad as forecast in Victoria. Enough already!

Suzy, great bargains you found for Ebob! My kind of shopping.

Broni, do you have some kind of tourist bureau that gives information to tourist about places to visit? they might know about statues for Keith's visit.

If not, get creative. make your own, even if it means painting and posing a person as a statue. (water soluble paints, not oil based.)

Back for a minute - looking up a phone number...

I got Ebob good this afternoon. She asked to have her ears pierced a second time for her birthday. I ummed and aahed and didn't answer. Hubby and I talked and said it was better than coming home with her eyebrow pierced or a tat, but we didn't tell her. Today I picked her up for her iced chocolate, but we walked the wrong way. She asked where we were going and I said, that's right, there's no hot chocolate up this way is there... she kept guessing until we were two shops away from the chemist, then went ballistic with excitement, funny noises, almost dance moves... she was pretty pleased.
