After a brief half hour of double digit (10) degree feels like temps, we're back down to single digit feels like temps. Not as cold as temps measured in Fahrenheit, but cold for here. Theresa is probably laughing at me for finding these temps cold. I'd hibernate if I lived with her in Canada.

Alie is off to a surprise birthday party tonight, for her. One of the guests told her. She gets a three day birthday this year.

Life is a mystery to be lived, not a problem to be solved.

I really should pay more attention to the numbers.

I just heard a good one! I heard that Joanne is now telling ''stupid Gil'' stories to people at his church. I've been told that they're the same stories that I have been telling for years. She's finally realized what a moron he is. It will be interesting to see if she does marry him after all.

I was wondering where you were, Julie. I was kinda hoping that you were using the time for sleeping, since I don't believe you get enough.

Thanks, Heidi! I've been trying to sleep more - about to hit the bed now. Just wanted to pop in and say Hello! Congratulations on the divorce and sharing the humor of Joanne telling 'Stupid Gil' stories!

Sending positive thoughts, healing energy, {{{{{HUGS}}}}}, , and prayers for everyone! I hope to get here earlier tomorrow!

Hi everyone. I have not been at the computer much this week. Latest treatment had knocked me. My blood count is down so I do not have much energy. I am also finding the cold weather hard to deal with. I did wash some jumpers yesterday and got them dry in the sun. Also shampooed a small but dirty part of the carpet in the hallway. We did have a nice piece of steak with vegetables and mushroom sauce for dinner but other than that I sat with the heated wheat bag and a rug to keep warm. I have so much I want to do and I do not have the energy.
Good one Heidi. I just wish that he lived a lot further away from you.
Julie I do hope that you got a good nights sleep.

June, I hope today was a better day. Hugs. Still bloody cold though.

Heidi, if Gil has been seeing Joanne for as long as he says, why has it taken her so long to work him out? $$$ in her eyes maybe?

Last night we had a birthday dinner for Alie at a restaurant. I knew I was going to have to fight to pay the bill, what I didn't count on was my bro sneaking to the register and paying before I even saw the bill. He made me cry.

You are very lucky Suzy to have such a considerate brother. He obviously cares a lot about you and your family. June, I hope you are feeling better as each day goes, the energy will come back, just concentrate on what you can do now, rest. The weather here is very cold too - we had 0 overnight and a couple of my orchids have suffered, along with the tamarillo tree. Heidi - loved seeing Joanne is getting her just desserts. Did you have their utilities cut off? Please say you did something like that. My weekend was very quiet - tried to clean the fridge in the caravan but my hands are so awful now, I couldn't do it very well and had to give up halfway. The steroids have made my skin so fragile, my hands and lower legs are black from bruising. Hope Mizt is well and her d is getting better. Cheers to all.

Good afternoon my friends, sorry to be MIA for so long have been reading.
Congratulations Heidi, hope he now has all his stuff moved out.
June, Midge and Zusy my thoughts are with you all.
Julie, when will you get some good sleep?
Had a bit of a scare the other month but all is good.
Think from painting, I damaged some muscles in my shoulder to the point I ended up going to emergency, they did an xray and found a white spot on my lung but gave me antibiotics thinking it may have been an infection. Went to my doctor and she had another xray done, nup still there. Was referred to the PA Hospital and after another xray they decided to do a biopsy through my back, didn't get the results for a couple of weeks (by this time I was a mess) Turns out it is a foriegn object that my lung has encased still need to go back for a check up in a couple of months, phew!
Luv and hugs to all.

Oh Broni, how scary! I'm glad it wasn't the dreaded C, but still bad enough. Hugs....

Midge, when I think about how hubby died,I often think of you and what you are going through because of botched surgery. I haven't done anything about it though.

Suzy, don't leave it too long before you get Ken's hospital records. Then you can see a solicitor in your own time for advice when you ar4e stronger - going to court is not an easy thing to do. My case comes up in Nov if I go ahead with it.

Todays blood test showed that the count is too low for me to have a treatment tomorrow. Instead I go in for a blood transfusion. That should perk me up for the next few weeks.

We've got a nice thunderstorm going on right now, with torrents of rain. The pipe from the sump pump has not been fixed yet, so there'll be more flooding downstairs. On Wednesday, I'll be calling my lawyer to go after Gil for that. He has the right to remove his property, but not to destroy MY property while doing so. If I have to sue him for damages plus recompense for stress caused, I will.

Yes there is. The time limit has already passed..... but most of the stuff he has left is papers from college and other crap I don't want.

Heidi, sounds like a good time for a bonfire.
The hardest part of getting a doctor to admit fault is they all stick together, getting a report from another doctor is nigh impossible.
Yes, I was that scared that I had all my hair cut to less that an inch long, still have pain in my shoulder but my doctor told me because we have to breathe it takes longer to heal because it is constantly moving.
Changed my appt to go back for a CT scan and see the doctor early September instead of October and hopefully back on the road by October if Pete is well enough.

Greetings to All!

June, I hope you're feeling better after having the blood transfusion! I hope it does the trick and brings your blood count up!

Broni, I'm so glad things weren't what you expected. Sending healing energy your way, and positive thoughts for the CT scan in September, and hopefully resuming the road trip with Pete in October!

Heidi, I hope you can get rid of the rest of Gil's things (maybe use them to absorb the water?). I hope your lawyer is able to squeeze out of Gil whatever it takes to make the necessary repairs!

Suzy, I'm glad Allie's birthday present was so well received. What a wonderful brother you have to pay for the meal!

Midge, I don't remember if I commented how relieved I was that you had heard from your son! I hope he remains safe in his journeys and in his return home!

I have lots of cello practice to do to prepare for my next lesson. We also are dog sitting for our daughter & her family for the week.A number of friends are in town this week for a music camp, and we're hoping to get to see them (made difficult because of our responsibilities to take care of the dog).

Heading to bed, as the dog is an early riser. Sending healing energy, , {{{{{HUGS}}}}}, prayers, and positive vibes for all!

Good work Heidi!

I just went to a ceremony celebrating the completion of the home run fence around the baseball pitch that hubby drew. I didn't go onto the field because I was barely keeping it together. I was introduced to everyone though. This is bla bla, emphasising the last name so everyone knew I was hubby's wife. I lost it when I was leaving and got a hug from our federal member. I didn't tell her I didn't vote for her.

Thunderboomers and pouring rain right now. I'm SO glad the sump pump is working again! The dogs are upset, but it's supposed to end in 2 1/2 hours, at least.

Hi, Everyone!

Hooray, Heidi! Gil actually is paying for the repair of the broken pipe! And just on time so the thunderstorm & rain aren't a concern!

Suzy, you have dealt so remarkably well with many occasions that would be tear-jerkers for most of us! Your federal member didn't need to know that you didn't vote for her; at least you seems like she might be a compassionate person. You have passed another milestone and have much to be proud of!

I haven't spent much time on Facebook and don't know if MIzT has posted recently. I hope all is going well and her daughter is getting the help she needs!

I'm off to bed after a long day that started early. The grand-dog is back at home. We picked up her family at the airport this afternoon. Horrible traffic caused the trip to their place to take nearly 2 hours (when a good-traffic day might have taken 45 minutes). After spending a bit of time as they got re-acclimated, we left and spent almost 2 more hours driving (again, about a 45 minute trip on a good day) to the music camp I went to for 4 or 5 years to attend the final cello and violin concerts and see some friends we only see there.

And now, I'm off to bed. Sending positive vibes, healing energy, {{{{{HUGS}}}}}, prayers, and for Everyone!

Suzy, I have much more energy and some colour back in my face. Trying to get as much done as possible while I have the energy.
Heidi, I was worried that Gil would not pay the repairman and you would end up with the bill.
MizT posted on FB on 4 July about the celebrations.
Julie, how awful to get caught up in all that traffic. I am sure you enjoyed your trip to the music camp.
We are going North for a few days R&R and we will have Laura. Hope that we have nice weather as we will be near the beach. Hope to see lots of whales as they travel north for the winter.

Greetings to all!

June, I'm thrilled to hear of the transformation you've had due to the transfusion! That it fantastic! Enjoy the trip and R&R with Laura. I hope you truly find it to be R & R! Just enjoy and make the most of it!

Heading to bed, as I have an early alarm to have breakfast before going to donate blood - my first time in a year or so, as I was determined to be the source of blood in case my hubby needed a transfusion during surgeries and hospitalizations last fall/winter.

Sending healing energy, , prayers, {{{{{HUGS}}}}}, and positive thoughts for each of you!
