Like I said, I try to give the leg up for others to claim the prize.
Speaking of which, the point I'm trying to make is that I'm not sure that anyone was complaining about the fun. To my memory it was someone making a comment at the top of the page that perhaps it was inappropriate (given the accident) to make a joke about flying. It may be unfair to suggest that "people" are "complaining" about the fun. I really don't think anyone is. And to suggest that someone is complaining may be maligning the people who chose to be sensitive (which, given that they're, by definition here, "sensitive," may be hurting the feelings of those who tried hard not to hurt feelings, if you get what I mean). My 2 cents.

My parents are coming to visit for the first time in 2 years. The house is a wreck and I'm tired. Everything's pulled out and what's underneath needs cleaning. My hubby and oldest daughter are fixing a door threshold so mice don't come in any more (but will they come in any less, is what I want to know)! Soup and sandwiches for supper here. I gotta get off the computer and FLY (as Marla Cilley would say ....)

Sitting here very stiffly this morning. I woke up with a neck crank. (Crank is what one of our kids used to call a sore anything, can't remember which one but it fits!)
Went to bed quite early last night, was falling asleep in front of the pooter. Must be too much high living!

Feel better Gail!
I'm feeling good after taking a day completely off this pamphlet thing - it may be good exercise but it is not my idea of a stimulating way to spend my time!!

Suzy, I know it takes up an awful lot of your time, but I found the time I used to spend walking by myself very good for communing with my own thoughts. Sometimes my mind would run non-stop, other times I would look vaguely off into the distance with nary a thought in my head!

It has begun to rain here. It's too early for Gustof and too late for Faye. Since there's no letter in between, it must be just rain. Quite a lot of it, in fact.

Well, we're off soon to go to the travel agents to book our trip to WA. So I should finally have definite details for Rolanda and Anne later today. WooHoo!!!
Have a great day everyone and I'm pleased that Viv's OK. No doubt she'll come online as soon as she is able.

Oh, Dino, Quaker (not the religion, but the oatmeal company) rice cakes are three inch discs, three-fourths of an inch thick, of puffed rice. Very filling and utterly tasteless. Moravian ( the religion) Christmas cookies are delicious.
It's lightening. Bye.

Rolanda - how did I miss that? I must have skipped through some posts. Not an easy place to have a mole removed - must cause heaps of discomfort every time you move your arm.
I've been very self-absorbed lately and that's bad. Sorry!!
Gotta go to the travel agents!!

So glad to hear news that Viv is OK! CynB - how could she mistake the nagging as anyone else but a SA5 mum - geeeeez louise!
Of course, probably being all doped up had something to do with it.

Vici... besides the after effects of being doped up, she probably didn't know which of the nags here it was. I mean, really. It could have been one of dozens.

Heidi, that's kind of like what I used to say when a student bemoaned his lack of a computer at home. I'd tell him that the most sophisticated and powerful computer that could ever be invented was that compact and portable four-inch job between his ears. You know, those kids would look at me as if I were nuts. But they did that often, so I didn't pay any attention.
