The usual coffee, tea and hot chocolate is ready for all. I will need at least one more cup to wake up today! Slept mighty hard overnight. I did not even hear one of the kitties asking to go out, so she went to hubby and woke him hehehe. He got up and let her out, most unusual. must have been dead to the world to sleep through Screech wanting out. You can imagine how she got her name!

Hope everyone is safe from the Hana, and preparing for IKE, I saw a headline saying he will be the strongest hurricane to hit south florida since '99 and Andrew. I hope they are wrong!

Well I am as caught up reading as I will get, still a few poages back a bit I di dnot get. Seems that is where someone first mentioned a bra problem? And a cotton bra was recomended? what did I miss on that??

I have done MOST of my chores, even with my interuption with the day at the bank, I have some canned goods to put away. I was just tooo tired last night, sat in my recliner and stayed there. I served hubby the take out I brought home, the other half of the way to much food I had ordered for lunch. I made myself a bowl of cereal before bedtime.

Now if only it does not rain tomorrow afternoon, that is cut the grass day, and it has become very overgrown with all the rain we have had. It both likes and grows more in rain, and it kept me from my apointed grass cutting day , so almost a week overdue.

I need a shower and to get dressed, and off to the musical afternoon. I am bringing a marinated veg salad and whole wheat bread as my contribution, and de caf tea cause that is what I want to drink hehe.

Hi All...Trying to stay positive here...Hanna is pouring the rain on us at the moment, but thankfully no wind for now.
My daughter and SIL are having some problems with their bedding...had to get rid of old and can't get the new ones in a timely manner...bedding on the floor is no fun, so they may have to come here which is ok, but far from their work..... and we're expecting possible flooding in my area...If this isn't enough....my great grand, Angelique, is now in a hospital in a body cast....she's being tested for some type of bone disorder...but my grand daughter said they are also asking her lots of questions to be sure there's no abuse from her or her child care center....the baby may also have some kind of blood disorder...So many things right now to be sorted...please keep them in your prayers....I know how powerful prayer is...Thanks. Peace.

Mama - prayers said here for you and yours. Isn't Angelique your one in CA? Stay dry out your way - sure wish you could share some of that rain with us.

Mamacita, Sending hugs, thoughts, wishes and I have so many things crossed I can hardly type. Poor little Angelique! It must be hard on your grand daughter to go through the questioning when she is so worried. We all know that they have to do this stuff to protect children, but wish they could just look at us and know we would never do anything to hurt our babies! Something similar happened to hubby when Ebob hurt her ankle in a bounce castle - problem was it was on a Thursday night (who has a child's birthday on a Thursday night?) and he made a passing comment about knowing the hospital routine very well (Ally spent a fair bit of time in emergency rooms when a wee little thing). But it all worked out in the end and all that happened was that he was left with ragged nerves.

MizT, I'll have a cup of very strong coffee today. I am not sleeping well, which is very unlike me. I usually sleep through all sorts of stuff that others wouldn't. Screech would be no problem for me. I'm wondering if it's all the exercise I'm getting, though I can't work out how that would be true and suspect I'm looking for an excuse to stop!!!

And one more for a CP - the rain has stopped here. Sending wishes to the places in Hannah's path .... and hoping Ike gives it all up as just too much effort and fades away into nothing very soon.

It has taken me ages to catch up on all the chat you have written. I'm a little busy at home, so cannot get into SAas often as I would like. Builders aren't here this weekend but we have to clear out the garage so they can set up the tile cutting machine just in case it is raining on Monday. Next week is going to be a busy one as the downstairs bathroom is being tiled again, the boiler is being replaced and the new bathroom suite for the upstairs bathroom should be delivered. The is a possibility that the new window for the upstairs bathroom will be done too.

Brenda, that's a lot! I hope it all comes together, and I hope it's not too stressful.

Today is the anniversary of losing my best mate JD. His daughter, her husband, our grandson and his brother will be sharing this day with me in celebrating his life. So I am off to get our seafood lunch. There is a photo of my man on my page. Hope you all have a great day.

Brenda, hope your renovations go quickly and with as few problems as possible. Having two bathrooms undergoing renovation at the same time has got to be difficult....
