Hello Hether, how did you go in the big storms on the last few days? I haven't seen your comments lately on the jigsaws but I remember you from last year. I would drive through the Hunter Valley on my way to visit my daughter in Newcastle and I would wonder if I was near your place. She is in the UK now so I don't go there anymore.

Great to hear from you. Yes I'm high and dry! Unlike many people I know, they didn't fare so well . However everyone seems to be upbeat, saying they were lucky and they could've had it far worse. Everyone seems to know someone who is worse off than themselves. I love the spirit... it's very uplifting!
Was flooded in for short while though but able to get through with the 4WD. Took many many photos and am yet to go visit the new spectacle at Nobby's. Staying away for the moment as it's too crowded for my liking.
I think we're going to have a shipwreck here for a long time somehow!
