for the birthday greetings, Chris! Since it's spring here, I spent the day buying and planting flowers and then went to a restaurant that gives you a free meal on your birthday!

Hubby has run 12 marathons (including 4 Boston Marathons) so I know how much training you have put into this. The longest races I've been in is 25K. That was far enough for me!

Hi Chris, thank you very much for your kind words while I was in hospital. I am home now and feeling much better although I will be tied to an oxygen bottle for the rest of my life - a daunting prospect. The alternative though, is not nice.

Thank you for your birthday wishes, Chris! I've had an absolutely full day with work, visiting family, family visiting me then played a couple of hours of badminton tonight. Tomorrow night I'm going around to my daughter's place for a birthday dinner. It's been a wonderful day.

for the birthday wishes! I had a wonderful birthday weekend at the Indy 500 (three Aussies driving this year), but no cake! I've had a lot of birthday's there since I've been going to Indy since 1974. My birthday seems to fall near that Memorial Day race weekend most years and we celebrate there.

Thank you for your birthday wishes, Chris. Just got home from my daughter's where I spent the evening with them. Worked for two hours this morning then had lunch with our Badminton Committee members, so had a full day in all. My sister also called around to visit in the afternoon.

Good morning Chris. Sounds like you're being treated well for your birthday. That's great.
I was also watching the BBL last night. A bit disappointed with the Scorchers loss as they've been playing so well. It was hot in Perth but only in the low 20's down in Albany. Supposed to be about 26C here today but is very overcast and windy, which is has been all week.
