I was so very sorry to hear about your father, Chris. Thinking of you and your family during this sad time.

I'm sorry to hear of your father's passing. Hopefully you and your family can find peace soon as he is no longer struggling or in pain. I hope you don't mind, but I put a note about this on Facebook in the Sudoku Friends group so other friends from here would be aware of your loss.

I am sorry to hear about your father. My condolences to you and your family. Having lost my father two months ago, I know what you're going through. There are going to be ups and downs, I know, I still have those teary throat choking times and they come unexpectedly. But with time the hurt doesn't go away but you learn to live with them and have an easier time coping with the loss. Try to live with the good memories and discard the guilts and bad memories except as a reminder to not repeat them with your children. And, as I have found, keep running. The endorphins help immensely. I always have a clearer head after a good run.

I feel very guilty as I have not been visiting nearly as much as I used to. Many reasons (some would say excuses) but time just seems to get away these days. I rather intrigued with the fact that my name is still on the Birthday list, as I ceased to be a supporting Member from February. I had sent in my cheque but it was never acknowledged nor was my 'status' updated !

Thank you, Chris! Only a runner would understand the frustration! Most would concentrate on the pain and try to console you on that but runners understand missing the euphoria of the endorphins!

The reason I'm up so early (been awake since three) is I'm suffering from jetlag and can't get back into a normal sleep pattern. I'm also back at work today, so I'm going to be exhausted by this afternoon.

Hello Chris - thank you for the birthday wishes. I had a good start to the day and will finish the day at my daughter's place for dinner.
We've had some unusually hot days for down here in Albany but it soon cools off.
