Thank you Thank you Mamacita. Being very naughty I opened my present and WOW. The transparent, red, fur trimmed shorty nightie is just what hubby Steve wanted (for me). Naughtie nightie..... but even though I opened it I promise not to put it to use till after Santa and his reindeer have passed by on the 24th. Just how did you know my size? I hope you got one for yourself at the same time.
There will be a little something for you winging through cyber space shortly. I am still making my Christmas cards so am running a bit late - still I have 5 days left...only 5 days... I'd better get a move on.

Mamacita, if it's not already gone, I'd like the dark colored present in the back on the left under the red circle slash 'no' symbol ... I just have a feeling about it. Thank you so much. You should treat yourself to a little extra nog in your egg nog this evening.

Merry Christmas and
Mamacita and Sully. Hope Santa leaves you just what you want.

Mamacita, love your tree, and that Santa has a little FLAVA!...You're a bona fide party animal who might want to know we're repairing the first class cabin of our plane that 'somebody' trashed on the trip to Napa. This time, we'll be cruising around the world for a New Year's bash at 35,000 feet. Put on something very sparkly; tell us the airport nearest to you, and we'll scoop you up!

Mamacita - Have you talked to your son yet about possible dates for your visit to FL? Any possibility you could plan to come during the same time Suzanne will be in FL (I think it's Feb. 17-23?)? She'd like to plan a second FL SA meeting while she's here. We were thinking maybe a beach party!! Ed & I could drive south to maybe Ft. Myers area. Maybe you & Nal could drive north & join us?? I'm going to check & see what Celia's plans are, too.

Hi again Mamacita 2, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your family. Thank you for the delicious egg nog when I visited last. the ice cream and nutmeg really made it good. No, it wasn't too strong, just perfect. Thought I'd drop off some walnut balls and spritz cookies for you that I made a couple of days ago. Also, here's some Strawberry and grape wine that my hubby bottled in the last few days. hope they help you welcome in the new year...Wow, 2007 already.
Oh, we had great news while Tasha (from U. of WA) and her boyfriend and his parents were here for Christmas and Jeff asked us for permission to ask Tasha to marry him. He is such a gentleman. He said he will give her the ring on New Years Day when she is in S. Carolina (he was commissioned into the Navy last June and is in training there). Can't wait for her to show me the ring on Jan. 2, when I pick her up from the airport. Again, Hope you have a very Happy New Year...Cheers!

Mamacita, hi. Thanks for visiting. While spending Christmas in Ohio, my niece treated me to a night out. We saw Dreamgirls. Showbiz is a tough industry. As I watched the film, I couldn't help but think of James Brown's influence on Eddie Murphy's crazy/tragic role, and the irony of the Christmas Day wide-release of the film coinciding with the curtain closing on the Godfather of Soul.

Mamacita thanks for your New Years wish...yes, we are being snowed in again. I have plenty of food, good books, and oh, yeah, I'm going to turn of the ringers on the phone so MIL (or anyone else) can't call us at 9AM and tell us how much snow we have!
Happy New Year to you and yours. What a beautiful picture out your window.

Thanks for calling by with greetings for the New Year, Mamacita. We always look to the New Year hoping it will bring many positive things, but we really know that, like every other year, it will have its ups and downs. Here's hoping that for you and yours the ups will be more plentiful than the downs. What a great view from your window. I look out on a little patch of bush, where I can often see a number of small birds flitting around and occasionally a large, fat stumpy-tailed lizard. A kangaroo has been visiting of late, looking for water in the birdbath, as conditions are so dry.

Hi Mamacita. What can I say to you, other then what I'm posting to others. 2007 is around the corner. A whole new year coming up, and so much will happen during this coming year. I do hope that you and yours enjoy peace, happiness, good times, (chocolate for those of you who indulge), and should there be some sorrow that befalls you, I do hope you weather it well and stay strong and positive. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Mamacita - well, look at you changing photos on your page & keeping up with all the ins & outs of current technology!! I admire you so much for your immense capacity for learning & loving. Your sweet message on my page almost brought me to tears! 2006 was a great year for making new friends in Sudokuland, & I think that 2007 is going to be even better. I'm determined to meet many of our group, including YOU, IN PERSON in addition to meeting here in cyber space. I wish you & Sully & all of your family good health, peace, prosperity, laughter, & love in the new year.

Today is 12/30/06 in the USA, and 12/31/06 in Australia. It is ending as no other year that I can remember in my lifetime. We are faced with the knowledge that death is a part of life, and we are reminded of that today as the funerals for a former USA President, Gerald Ford, an entertainer, James Brown, who talked to presidents and common folk alike, and a dictator, Saddam Hussein, who is said to have killed or had many of his own countrymen killed in the name of power, are being conducted. These men were viewed in differing ways, and will be remembered some with love, others with hate. I am just reminded that no matter your station in life, or the way folks view you or your deeds, we have more in common than we differ, and we too will come to an end on this earth. Life is a gift that should be cherished, and lived in the best possible way. For me it means to love GOD, self and family/friends, and to try to treat all as I wish to be treated. As this year draws to a close, this is my vow, I will continue to try and treat all who share this world with me in that manner.
