Mamacita, your family is gorgeous, and I love the new photos you have added. You're still adorable now, but you were also one heck of a BABE when you were younger! Of less importance ... I think we have the same tile as you in our entry and kitchen!

You have a very attractive family. I've always wanted to see Philly. I've met a lot of people over the years from Philly who never said 'Boy that place sucked I'm glad I moved out!'(LOL). I don't know what it is in particular, but anyone who's ever been there has raved about it. I must apologize that it is with sadness that I view the picture of you and your husband and read that you've been married 51 yrs. I put in 13 yrs with a man hoping to grow old with him. He had a major stroke 2 yrs ago, then after caretaking for him all this time he died on me in Sept. I'm happy for you, but there is a part of me that's just really jealous. I know that's not right (and I don't know you very well) but I thought I would tell you not to take any of this (time you have with your husband) for granted.

Angela, Your loss saddened me for you, yet I can appreciate your loss even more since my hubby has been having some very serious health problem in the last few weeks, and I know I am not prepared to have him die, although I know one of us will leave the other at some point. I am happy that you included the reminder not to take our time for granted. It is important to enjoy what we have. I almost died myself 25 years ago, and have been given a 2nd chance at life, therefore I have learned the value of living in the now. Life has been good to me and I know it is a blessing. As far as the Phily area goes, it's pretty nice, like any large city, it has its share of problems, but I have enjoyed it. Let me know if you do get a chance to come this way, perhaps I can show the city off to you. Thanks for the visit. Peace be with you.

Mamacita, as promised, a redwood burl for your place. Sorry to have been remiss ... it will be a little behind the others, but in a hundred years or so, nobody will be able to tell.

Hi Mamacita. Sorry, I missed your question. The easy way is to click on each individual picture that you have in Flickr. When the picture opens, you'll see a 9 digit picture number in the address bar. In update my profile features, just key in that picture numder in the Flickr space Gath has provided on your page, and the picture will change. Let me know if you have problems! Cheers! ....Greg

Mamacita: You can only put one picture on the site at a time, but you can link all the pictures to your page by making them public, like you have already done with your existing pictures. All your pictures must be on Flickr to let site people see them. No one can get to your computer to see them. I think you should send Gath an email for help, as he initially helped me. I'm sure you already know this, but just in case, you can reach him through the 'Contact Us' link at the top of each page in the site. I wish I could be there with you for 10 minutes, as it is quite simple to do but obviously quite difficult to explain.

Hi Mamacita,

I noticed your question regarding changing the pic over at Greg's place.

To change your Flickr picture, go to 'Update Details' (top right of the page).

You can then change the Flickr picture that you currently have to another one. You can only show ONE Flickr pic at a time.

This is just a short help, so I might not have answered your questions - send me an email & we'll work it out.

Mamacita 2, I is so nice to meet you and what a lovely family you have (family photos on flickr). This is the first time posting on your site. Just wanted to say Merry Christmas.

Congrats on your granddaughter graduating. I too have a 17 yr old graduating, my daughter, from High school (on June 8). Oh, also, our other daughter(21 yrs old) is graduating from Univ. of WA, Seattle this year (yes, also on June 8...)and about 2 1/2 hours away our home. She went to college on a Navy ROTC scholarship and will be commissioned as an officer in the Navy. She wants to be a helocopter pilot and will be going to Florida for flight school soon after June 8.
Again, Merry Christmas.

LD, How nice of you to come, hope you will have something to remember your visit, tea, coffee or perhaps something a little stronger? Theres some great egg nog, here I'll just add a little ice cream to it and a sprinkle of nutmeg...how is it?? Not too strong I hope. Boy, June 8 is really a busy day for you, I hope the timing allows you an opportunity to see both girls get their chance to walk across the stage. Congratulations to the two of them. Merry Christmas to all of your family. Please come again.

I have laid out the goodies and the mince pies are warming in the oven. The mulled wine is almost at a simmer. In the south corner The Chippendales have carefully arranged their tinsel and Holly!!!!! ready for lady visitors and in the north corner a small group comprising of dixiechick lookalikes and Michelle Pfiffer wanabees are waiting to greet any of the male species. I have stocked the shelves and Mamacita has kindly sent some egg nog divine.
Venez Nombreuses - or come along alone there is a welcome here for you. Costume (fancy dress) optional but I think dress is essential as it is colder

Hi Mamacita:

When you are in Flickr, open the picture you want to put on your page, such as the poisetta pictue. Once you open it, you will see the location of it in your Internet address bar (for example your flowers address is
http://www.flickr.com/photos/mamacita_2/323284147/). Each picture that you open in Flickr has it's own address (a different 9 digit number). Either write down the number or copy it.

On your personal page in the Sudoku site, go to Update Details. Once you are in the update portion of your page, you see the box that reads Flickr photo, which contains the link to the picture you have now of yourself and Sully.

In this box, erase the current information and key in the 9 digit number for the Flickr picture you want to have showing (the flowers above would be the 9 digits in the address bar link, 323284147. Then scroll down the page and click on Update my Page. The picture will then be changed.

You should be able to change any picture any time by just erasing the existing picture number in the Flickr photo box when you are in update portion on the Sudoku site by keying in the matching 9 digit number for the picture you want on site. Hope this is clear enough. Cheers!
