This castle was a boys dream many many years ago , and now it is an only man's work , it is called Moussa castle , the boy's name was Moussa , and he drew it , and dreamt about it , until he grew up and worked day and night for many years , to fulfil his dream .I posted some pictures of the inside of the castle . Every thing inside is made by him .He was alive when i visited the castle some years ago .

Jano,
Thanks for your morning message. I've read that the Red Cross is trying to get help in to some of the people in Nahr al-Bared. That must mean there is a lull in the fighting. Hopefully, it will all be over soon.

Of course, it is even difficult for me to understand the idea of 'camp.' I read about some of the history and I understand that the terrorist group that infiltrated the camp has ties to Al-Queda. As you know, that is the terrorist group that attacked New York City and bombed the USS Cole when it was in port. It seems as though that group is never ending--that when one dies, another takes it's place. It makes me fear that this is going to be a long, long battle if we accept the idea that these terrorist groups are world wide. Yesterday, I thought I read that there was a smaller problem south of you a bit. I hope I am in error, but if that is the case, you are in the middle and you need to visit your son in LA!

It is terrible what is going on in your country. No wonder you feel sad. If that were happening in Australia or the US or ANY country, where the others of us live, we would certainly feel sad, too. Many thoughts & prayers are with you & the other citizens of Lebanon. May peace come soon

Jano, I reread some of the articles and cannot find anything about trouble south of you. I must have mixed up my directions. I feel more comfortable--a little bit.

Jano, the US is sending more military supplies to help your army. It will be there in two days. I also found this statement:
A statement attributed to Fatah al-Islam was sent Thursday to several media outlets in Lebanon, saying the militant group intends ' to blow up several crusaders' universities and schools tomorrow in the event the Lebanese army does not surrender.' Crusaders usually refers to Americans or Westerners.
It appears that they must be worried or they wouldn't be making these threats.
Hang in there.

Jano, Thank you for visiting my page and letting us know that you are safe. I keep you and your countrymen in prayer. It is so difficult to live in such times of hatred and war. Man can be so destructive. As dificult as it must be, I hope you are able keep the loving people who wish only for peace and safety for you and yours upper-most in your thoughts and in your heart, and allow the evil to recede for periods of time so that you will remember how the good and peaceful times felt. I certainly hope peace is restored to your land quickly.Your pictures show a beautiful country, and your love of your country also comes through. May that love once again shine brightly under a peaceful sun!

Jano, you'll be up soon so I'll say Good Morning. I just read this statement: Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah said Lebanon should not become part of the American war against al-Qaeda. I wonder, does he expect Lebanon to just let the terrorists take over your country? My goodness! You have to be able to feel safe and not worry about what they might do next. From what I have read, the supplies from the US have arrived in Lebanon. Remember: Los Angeles is only an airplane trip away!

Jano just wanted you to know I am still thinking about you and your family and sending good wishes for your safety. I can understand your need for distraction and jokes to make you laugh. Sometimes if we do not laugh, we will cry, or run screaming from the room. I am as close as your computer any time you need a friend. Just go to my page and talk to me, I will get back as soon as I can.

Perhaps you would be comfortable visiting us on the Sudakoaholics page when you need some distraction from life's realities? Hi, Jano!
Your lunch with friends sounds great! It is a good idea to have something positive to think about.
Yesterday, Friday afternoon, our 8-year-old grandson came to spend the night. He decided he wanted to sew something for a birthday gift for his father. I agreed to help him make a quilted placemat. He used some leftover pieces of cloth from a quilt I made of bright colors. As long as he was using the sewing machine, he was happy. I have to hand sew the binding on and it will be finished. He has already called his mother to tell her he is staying another night so he can sew some more! I may have created a monster.

Hi Jano, Thanks for visiting my page. First let me say that I hope you are still safe. I took a few minutes to look at your pictures and you take beautiful pictures.I especially liked the ones of your Boris and Olga. We have a miniature poodle and a tabby kitten that are the same color as yours. We also have a German Shephard another tabby cat that is black, gray and white. What a beautiful area you live in. I hope you will visit my place again.

Hi, Jano!
Hope your day has been a good one. It is quiet here as our grandson went home last evening. He had a good time sewing the placemats. He actually sews a straight seam. When he got careless, I showed him how to remove stitches one by one. He took more care after that. He was very pleased with his project, though.

JANO, next time you visit the SA page, do leave a message, introduce yourself. Or did you and it did not show? Yesterday the site was having trouble, I kept trying to send and could not, really slow. It gets much busier when Australia is awake it seems. Hope to see you again soon.

Hello Jano,
How are you doing? Haven't heard from you for a couple of days. The news tells me that the army is now getting rid of the terrorists in its final push. It certainly will be good to have this over! What nice things are you doing for yourself?

Hi, Jano!
I know you have one son in Los Angeles. I assume you must have others at home with you. Am I right?
My husband has planned my birthday celebration for tomorrow (Saturday, here). He's invited family and friends (I don't know who) to meet at our favorite Italian restaurant. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again.
Today, I have promised myself to finish a quilt top and begin the quilting. So far, I've only looked at it! I just can't seem to get started. I need a push!

The hour walk is important. I should be doing that, too. Definitely. My doctor is insisting that I lose some weight and get exercise. This is jut another thing I can't get started on.
Three sons? How nice. Some families here have children who stay with parents until they are married. Our daughter did stay with us until she was married, but son did not. He is still welcome and sometimes stays overnight if it is late. David is now in his 40's and lives on his boat in the warmer weather. During the winter, while we were living in Florida, he lived in our Massachusetts house. It was certainly nice knowing the house was being well cared for. Of course, he did make two trips to be with us in warm Florida!
Kathy/Valrico is busy doing a rain dance for Florida. Our area has had no rain for several weeks. A front is coming through so I encouraged her to get out in the front yard and dance! Silly, aren't I?

Hi Jano! Thanks for stopping by my page. I couldn't figure out how you knew about my rain dance until I saw chalkboard's post here. I have been exchanging some e-mails with her & since her house in FL is not too far from mine, maybe we will get to meet each other some day.
My rain dance must have worked really well! Tropical Storm Barry is bringing in LOTS of rain. It started yesterday & continued all through the night with even more predicted for today & tomorrow!! June 1 to Dec. 1 is the rainy season & unfortunately, the hurricane season in the southern U. S. We can only hope no major storms like Hurricane Katrina happen this year.

Hi, Jano!
We just came home from eating and drinking all evening. We celebrated our son-in-law's birthday as well as mine. It was great seeing everyone again. I think everyone had a good time. I know I did.
I found a news article online that had many pictures of the war north of you. It seems as though your army is determined to get this project completed. I also see that some Palestinians are not allowing the militants into their area inside the camp. Hopefully, it will be over soon.
You take care.

Hi Jano! How are you today? Are things in your country getting any better? Your seasons in Lebanon are the same as ours here in Florida, so our very hottest part of the year is coming on now. I don't mind the heat, but worry about the hurricanes that can come. If you look at at a map of the U.S, you can find Tampa, FL which is the nearest big city to Valrico. It is a LONG way from Los Angeles, CA which is on the opposite coast. Has your son lived there very long? When was the last time you got to see him?

Jano, you answered so quickly! No, you did not bore me . I am interested in hearing about you & your family & concerned for your safety. Would you tell me the names of your sons? What company does your LA son work for? I'll bet you are looking forward to seeing him on his visit this summer. Or maybe with the fighting going on you could go & visit him instead?
