Hi Sue! As I look at the snow in my front yard that has been there for 74 days now, I realize those Down Under would love to have some cool weather. Our doggies go to an of leash park, and while their are rattlesnakes, I think the number of dogs that visit the park keep them hidden. We still watch out. Yes, they cuddle, they think they are lapdogs, especially Brutus. He was just here ''guarding'' me.

Hi Sue! Thanks for coming by my page. I went to the Gallery & checked the photo on Tough on Mar. 17, 2006, but it was a giraffe instead of your dog!! So I checked you Flickr photos & found both Em & Rosie there. It's too bad that black dogs' faces don't show up as well in pictures as lighter dogs' faces. Guess you like cocker spaniels. In our 40 years of marriage we have all sorts of dogs - one a purebred Irish setter & all the rest mixed breeds, 1 collie mix, 1 border collie mix, 1 Yorkie mix, & now a lab mix so all different colors, coats, sizes, & personalities. Ebony was the most docile of all of them at her visit to the vet's office today. Think we picked a good one!!

Dang, just typed a long comment to you & it got lost in cyberspace. Will try once more. I went back to the photo gallery for Hard on Mar. 17, 2006 & found the divine Miss Em. What a gorgeous blonde! 17 1/2 years was a good long life for her. You must have taken very good care of her. Now that we have a black lab mix some of my friends are telling me we should get a light colored dog & name it Ivory!! Just think, then we could have multi-colored dog hair all over the house! We think one dog will be enough for us.

Hi Sue. Saw your question, and you had a partial answer. The Ottawa Senators are a professional (ice) hockey team currently playing for the Stanley Cup, the ultimate trophy. My avatar is their team logo. Hockey is the god of sports here in Canada, and Ottawa has the chance to be the first Canadian-based team to win the Stanley Cup since 1993, so it is a big deal here! Cheers!

My first mosaic was very similar to yours..only in pale green, black and and central pattern in white. I live not far from the Mosaic Garden...well worth a look here in Hawthorn if you haven't seen it. Truly amazing work of art by Margot Knox. Now maintained by her daughter. Let me know if you ever come over to see it....coffee?
