Home at last after visiting 6 countries in 28 days, took 542 photos, some of which were OK, and travelling over 37,000km. It's nice to be back.

Welcome home Ian. Glad you and Anne are back safe and sound, but no doubt somewhat jet-lagged. Didn't realize that was your photo on medium today (I'm slipping I guess). Cheers my friend, and a glass to your safe arrival home!

Hi Ian, wall to wall buildings not my cup of tea. the photos that you put in your gallery are a little no a lot better than OK. been an ex-poilet you would have no fear of heights. Hong- Kong is probally a nice place to visit but I wouldn't like to live there. I'm surpised they haven't started building in the bay.

Hi eaa, I'm not too keen on heights - except when I have an aeroplane strapped to me.

It must have been fun flying into Hong Kong in the old days before the new airport, when they had to fly between the buildings! Wonderful photos, Ian.

Ian, thank you so much for your note of condolence, especially when you've just come through an emotional time yourself. Sure helps to know that people on this site rally round in tough times (and are a heck of a lot of fun, too ...) Every message means so much, and I'm grateful you took the time to send me one.

Hi Ian. I'm sure you probably did post a comment on your 'nird' photo, but I've noticed lately that many pictures are coming up with the comments missing. I think Gath has a problem in his photo library. How is all with you?

Silence from Ian for a few days I'm afraid. He is relaxing in the local hospital. He is bright and cheerful, just puzzling the doctors as to what is wrong with him.

Ian: We were looking forward to your new pictures. So we are counting on you to get better and hoping about as quick as a bunny - or chasing a bunny. BTW Your pics of Aberdovey, bring back memories (from about 25 years ago).

I'll say a prayer for you and the doctors caring for you.

It sounds as though you're keeping the medical staff on their toes, Ian - no ordinary, commonplace problems for you, huh? I do hope you're feeling better and able to get on with enjoying life very soon. Best wishes to you and Anne.

He is still "enjoying" hospital life. No, he does not have his camera with him. I made sure of that.I don't want any censorship. He is cheerful but bored out of his mind and the one thing that cheers him up is the comments and good wishes from all you guys.

Ian must be devasted with no camera Anne. Just imagine the wonderful photos.... bedpans, hospital food, cute (we hope) nurses, and of course the traditional bed time bath! Sneak in one of those cell phones that take oictures just for the heck of it!
