Hi Ian

Shame that you won't still be there when we are.

We'll be arriving at Ocean Grove on Good Friday (my son's birthday) and staying for a week (hopefully) ..ssshhhh my boss doesn't know about the 'week' thing yet.

Hi Ian.
Thank you for your lovely comments. When are going to be in Anglesea? Jeremy and I are going to Phuket for a week from the 10th March to the 18th. It would be easier for us to meet up with you either in Anglesea or down here in Ocean Grove. Let me know and hopefully it won't be while we are away.

Hi Ian,
I spent part of the weekend browsing the archives to see if I could find any of my lost pictures. I found some on the puzzles and more on the jigsaws, these were mostly from June, July, August. Such a waste, I found 81 pictures and quit counting. I saw lots of pictures I know were not there originally, the comment did not match the picture. I am not the only one who lost pictures. I don't know if you ever went looking for yours, bet they are there also. Now that I have vented my frustration I shall go to bed.

Hey Ian, if you have some spare time when you are down in Melbourne do you want to go for a fly in the Jabiru? I know probably a bit slower than what you are use to

Hi Ian, thank you so much for your kind message, it has helped me a lot to share my pain with so many lovely people on this site. I think I am done with pets, it's the third time I have had to do that and it doesn't get any easier.
On a brighter note, I am looking forward to our Melbourne meets Ian get together soon.

Hi Ian Congratulation Dr Rob...
Good news that you are heading south to visit your favourite city in the world......

This afternoon as I was heading home the ABC were taking calls from people talking about why they loved Melbourne and whey they wouldn't want to live anywhere else... very interesting! I got the impression a lot of people would find it perfect if it wasn't for the weather............

Can't imagine what they are on about myself....who wants to get bored? Apart from autumn there is never a dull moment in Melbourne when it comes to weather!!
Hope we manage to get it right for you - you might be a little early as late March thru to early May seems to be the best!

My attendance on the sudoku site has been so spasmodic over the last few weeks I suppose we all go through these episodes where things get a bit out of control but at least we are now back up to 'speed' and it doesn't take me HOURS to navigate the site!!

I haven't heard yet what time of day your 'happening' is but with Grand Prix fever happening Carlton is a good place to join the fever....I certainly hope it doesn't clash with the 'wedding fever' & events that we are enmeshed in. My favourite nephew is getting married on the 15th and there is great excitement in my large extended family. 'First' suit for 17yo son now hanging in 'robe [very exciting - Gail wants a photo...should I embarass him and post it on my page..], accomodation booked, present ordered so now there is just moi to sort out....its looking promising for a 'meet Ian & Ann'occasion. Unless work gets in the way you'll be seeing me [after all the spending I've done over the last few weeks I HAVE to work.

you've done well if you have got this far with my little 'novelette'..ciao for now
[ps. was wondering where my bells had got too but I notice that Gail has nabbed them and is going to be wearing them at the meet...I wonder if she'll do a belly dance too?]

Hi Ian - We have been looking at snow since this picture was taken November! We have about a foot on the ground right now. We received a couple of inches today, but I am afraid our snow has turned to rain. That isn't good this time of the year. We will probably end up with ice because it is about 32 (F) (freezing!)

The colors on the parrot are magnificent! I purchase a simple world atlas yesterday so I can look up all the different countries and it was fun to find all of the Australian cities on it.

Where in Canada did you live?

I have always loved art and I enjoy watercolors more than oil. My dad did oil paintings. I thank you for your appreciation. I sold one painting to a friend who insisted...usually I give them away to family and friends. And since somebody in sudokuland asked me to post my painting, I took pictures of the paintings in my possession and some are copies of the originals. I should paint more often...but need incentive.

Hi Ian,
Thanks for visiting my gallery and expressing your enjoyment of selected items. I am not a professional artists (unfortunately!) in the sense of being paid. Also, I don't take many photographs these days. The ones I work at are those selected as my best, whch were taken in the past over 5 decades.

I have just visited your gallery again, and this time I have selected one or two of my favourires for comment. I like your sizing and uniform presentation. Apart from that, there is something special about your composition and I can't quite pin down what it is. Your pictures are very relaxing.

Dear Ian, I could not agree more with Louis Armstrong and ...you. But there are times in life where one needs to let out some frustration and writing is one of my tool. Maybe I should have kept it to myself like I usually do. However,I am glad I posted it even if it's just to hear some reactions...Thanks for commenting on it.
