Okay, having had a glass, people please pay attention to the cranes unloading Linda's new lawn ornament. I was passing through Baudette and saw this great fishy thing on the side of the road, so it is now being off-loaded on your front lawn. Thought you might want something to compete with Jamie. When it's down, I'll spray paint it pink and decorate it with a tiara and boas. Wouldn't want anyone to mistake it for Wille Walleye now would we?

Soory about what that crane did to your front lawn Linda, but think of the great monkey business and fish tales you can now exchange with Jamie! Folks, take your shoes off as the mud being tracked in feels just great in bare feet. I like that pink fishy thing out front though!

CG: Sure glad you brought the flatbed. That will be the perfect place for the band to set up! By the way, thank you for NOT bringing your horse this time. The goat is bad enough. Although come to think of it, the horse didn't eat all the hors d'oeuvres like the goat did. Oh well, pass me the goat kibble - I feel a munchies attack coming on.

Just got the memo on today's party. Hey, this is great! I didn't know Linda had a goat It was VERY thoughtful of her to place a subtle pine lawn ornament out in front so we could find her place easily! OK, you can back that truck right up to the door to unload some kegs. We don't want to deplete her wine cellar COMPLETELY!

Be good to that goat, y'allsn's. It could be the only excuse you have once Linda gets home. Maybe it would be more acceptable if it had its own boa and tiara.

hey for got to post the warnings...
Warning: These do not fit most humans because they are meant for Goats. Do not try and return them if you have bought them but find the ankles are to tight and uncomfortable.
If your Goat's shoes seem to be too small, trim thier Toenails and lubricate thier feet with a light gear oil or grape seed oil and add a touch of Mint for the bad smell that sometimes develops over time.

Purple pygmy party pants for the goat? I don't think so. I'm going to wear them. That way if (correction: WHEN) I spill my shiraz (correction: LINDA's shiraz), the stain won't show. I think I'll pass on the shoes, however. I'm allergic to grapeseed oil.

Hey now, Willamina Walleye doesn't smell that bad. Do hope the pink paint holds up. So far, so good! No State Police, but who is that guy out front with the big fishing rod and the blue ox?

Hi Linda - how could he bear to leave such a beautiful place! He should have bought some humane traps with peanut butter for bait and stayed!! Though then you have the problem of deciding what to do with the mice you've trapped....

Hey, I'm just a wild and semi-crazy guy lookin' for a little fun. Somebody brought a horse to Ian's party and some kid let his ferret get loose. When we got to your house, somebody else said 'no horses or ferrets'. So whataya gonna do?
All I did was ask if anybody knew of somebody who had a goat and it just went from there. All I'll take some responsibility for are a few of the broken balloons and a smidgen of shaving cream. But be proud, after a party like that, your name will be legend.

Linda, I'm so sorry about your "waterbed incident". Our dogs didn't do that when we had our waterbed, but our cat did sharpen her nails a couple of times, resulting in slow leaks. We would wake up in damp sheets. But isn't she so cute???? Huh, mommy, huh???

So nice to hear from you, Linda, and especially to receive your kind words and prayers. Mom remains matter-of-fact about her condition, yet optimistic as well, thinking that she'll be able to return home after her hospitalization and therapy. I applaud her positive outlook and have ensured her I'll do everything I can to help her reach her goal. I also assured her I won't leave her alone--she had a real scare the other day ... she was full of fluids and her breathing was laboured; she was certain she was dying, and was calling out for me. That situation has been remedied and she was much better yesterday. Still, every day my heart breaks and I cry; I hate leaving her in the hospital when I feel I should be crawling into bed with her. Very dark days, these, but having so many supportive friends who are offering prayers is such a help; I'll be sure to tell her that Linda from Minnesota is rooting for her. Thanks a million and God bless you.

Linda, I am so sorry to hear about the death of Nikki. Seems you had mentioned that you thought she might be ready to go soon, but still that doesn't make your loss any easier to bear. I'll say again that it seems 2007 has been a bad year for so many of us from this site who have had to say goodbye to a four legged friend. I hope they're all frolicking happily on the other side of the Bridge waiting for us to join them someday. I send my love & sympathy to you & your family.

Hi, Linda! I'm so sorry to hear that your dog has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I remember that you had mentioned earlier in the summer that she was getting up in years. Whether it was expected or a complete surprise, it is still so very hard. Please know that your Sudoku family is here and understands and supports you. I guess that makes your transition to your new job even more difficult. I'm so sorry to hear of your family's loss. Hang in there and cherish your memories!

Linda - Many can not understand that a dog is a member of the family. Their loss, even when expected is hard. I have been through several over the years - some of them were harder to take than others, because of the love they bestowed upon us. Those were the ones we had raised from puppy hood. My condolences to you and your family on the loss of Nicki. Hopefully he is playing with all of those wonderful dogs that we loved to dearly.

My Tipper will soon be 13, and that is the age at which I loss the other 2 we had raised from their pupyhood. She was all of 6 months when my husband died. In the past we always had 2 dogs to keep each other company while we were both working. For the past 10 years, I've only had Tipper, my constant companion who loves to travel.

My prayers and thoughts are with you and yours and hug Tipper a little harder in Nicki's memory.
