The dragon in the card was made by my parnter out of modeline which is like plastercine but when it is cooked it goes hard.

Thanks for the B'day wishes for my Mom. She is 72 this year(but don't tell her I told) and despite a mini-stroke just over a week ago, she is still as active and full of life as ever. I spent Mother's Day with her and we went shopping together for flowers. Hers for baskets, mine for the garden. Good Youtube, I was born to be wild but nobody lets me.

Sorry to freak you out about the Stanley Cup, Greg. Like you, we don't watch much TV either, but we did view Boston Legal last night. One of the lawyers was able to keep the Cup for a day. After drinking Scotch from it, he set it on the edge of his balcony and accidentally knocked it off. The Cup splatted to the ground, 25 stories down. It was quite funny, and I thought immediately of you. My comment would have made you laugh if you had seen the show. Sorry 'bout that! Go Ottawa and Detroit!

My goodness, Greg, but you have a lot of visitors!! What a lucky guy you are! Yes, I stop by occasionally. Not as much as I use to. I retired from being a school secretary of 37 years to now being a caretaker of an 82 year old Alzheimer's lady. Not much difference. Right now it is requiring more of my time to be with her. Greg - I intend to sell my house here in Canberra and move to Tasmania. I'll build/buy another one there - they're generally cheaper with a better aspect - water, I hope. One of my sons lives there and of course that's where Shikia is. The fishing is world class, both fresh (trout, brown, rainbow and some brook) and sea fishing (lots of salmon farms and plenty of escapees, which it is illegal to return to the water when caught - non native. Thats a bugger!!!). My son's an avid flyfisherman so I'll just tag along and enjoy. I also intend to do a bit of woodturning in my spare time - when not fishing.
