Just viewed your pictures. They are wonderful. I loved the pyramids. I remember a report I had to do in high school--a little long time ago--I did it over the Egyptian pyramids. I have had a fascination with your country for forever. I would love to visit one day.

Hi Wagdy, How are you? I'm sure you enjoyed your visit to CA. I'm sorry you could not get to PA, but it is along way from CA.
Just to let you know, I had long prayed that my husband would be healed...God answers prayer, not always in the ways we would like, but I know and so does my son, that, Gary is w/ God, and at peace. He is also probably with David, the psalmist,and still rocking. He was a musician, what better place to sing praise?
I've been on Long Island, NY on the beach for much of the summer. Somehow the Ocean reassures us that God is constant...it's the surff, always rolling.
Anyway, I thought I'd just catch up with you, and send you my deep gratitude for holding I and my son in prayer...I can always use extra.

Thank you Wagdy, for your wonderful page - it's brilliant and awe inspiring. On your table I leave a vase of sweetpeas - may you & your family enjoy their beautiful scent and colours. I've admired your photographic work for a long time - you are an artist and have a true gift (and blessed with a beautiful happy family too!). 'Shokran' - don't know how to spell it, but hope you can 'hear' me say it right though! I visited Egypt a couple of years ago with great intentions of what I would see and do, but not wanting to do the 'coach convoy' bit in the end we just stayed in Hurgarda. Devouring all the tourist guides by the pool, one thing I realised is that if I stayed in Egypt for 20 years I would still never see everything. But your site has opened up your world - you are a great ambassador - it's almost as if there are no hordes of tourists. I would have liked to see your country (and the more I travel, other countries as well) 100 years ago. Sudokuland has opened my eyes - and my heart - to this wonderful world of ours and I enjoy seeing it through the eyes/angles of others. Have a great day.

I do all sorts of art as a job, mainly medical illustration. For pleasure, I do waercolour landscapes.
My son is a gamer, and enjoys computers. I think that will be what he persues as a life??

Happy (belated) Anniversary Wagdy! I hope you and your wife had a wonderful day!

Thank you for the Birthday Wishes last week. I had dinner with Mom that evening. She then flew up to Portland, OR for a Class Reunion (68th) and flew back for the wedding on Saturday of her only grand-nephew (my cousin’s son – 41, first marriage). Mom (85) refused to take a nap after getting up at 3 am for the flight back and insisted on driving (through Los Angeles to Orange County) for the wedding – she still drives fast. By the time we got to there we were not speaking & the drive back was even worse – getting home around midnight. The wedding & reception was wonderful (so was the beach party the night before, which Mom had missed). Dad always said the reason we fight, was because we are so much alike – both strong willed women. But, we will always love each other. I left Tuesday, had a meeting in No. Calif. Wednesday afternoon, and decided to camp at Burney Falls State Park – making my dog happy, before returning home. The back is still bothering me – but no violent pains – more of the gnawing variety and when standing up after sitting too long (so there were a lot of stops on the way down and on the way home). Thanks for the good wishes – I’m safe if not sound.
