Gday Wendy, how's things? I heard on the grapevine that you have been under the weather so I hope you are on the mend.
All is well in my corner of the globe at the mo (touch wood). Today the weather was glorious so hubby and I spent it out in the garden. Must extract the digit and get some more pics up on my page. I will take a few photos of the roses tomorrow and put up the five best pics.

Hi Wendy, I have just had the most wonderful surprise. I was browsing your site to see if we can set up a meeting while we are in Melbourne next month - bearing in mind that we plan to spend a couple of days in Anglesea - when I stumbled across your Flickr pages. My goodness you have some wonderful photos on your pages, they are creative and thoughtful photos showing your considerable talents as a photographer. I am so glad I 'discovered' them.

Oh what a shame - we will be driving down to Melbourne on 9th and back to Sydney on 20th March. Our visit to Anglesea will be in the middle weekend. So our holidays just about coincide, except you will be in Thailand and we will be in Melbourne.
Never mind, Anglesea is just about our favourite place and we have been going there for holidays for over 40 years. We'll be back and I'm sure there will be another opportunity. Have fhun in Phuket.

Thank you Wendy, We are looking forward to a good rest - as well as a reunion with my two brothers and their families, the Wesley Boat Race Dinner and the Powerhouse Rowing Club Oldies Luncheon. We intend to do some serious resting at Anglesea.
Dunno about the 'great' photos though, as you know it depends on a lot of things and I still have a lot to learn.

Wendy, I just dropped in to wish you and those you love a very Happy Easter. Now I see that your precious Muffin is no longer with you. I'm so very sad; I know too well what it's like to lose such a special part of your family. I'm sure Muffin was a huge part of your life, a gentle creature who brought you much joy. I still miss my Sherlock, Watson, and Moriarty a lot and get teary at times thinking of them. Know that my thoughts are with you, and if you want to chat, you know where I am. Bless you.

Hello Wendy - thanks for your visit and Easter wishes. I've been very lazy lately and haven't visited anyone very much. I have had my family staying with me since early February (daughter and grandson) and over Easter they have been away after picking up her husband from the airport and it's the first time I've had to myself. They will be back today and will start looking for a house of their own.
I hope you and your family had a lovely Easter break.

Wendy, I was very sorry to read about Muffin. We have had Seal Point Siamese cats for years and to lose one is just heart breaking. The really scary thing is that when I went to pick up one of the cats to take it to the vets to be put down (the absolutely worst task in the whole world), he knew exactly what I had in mind and objected all the way to the vet's.
We have no pets now and I miss my furry friends terribly. Commiserations.

Wendy, I was just dropping in to say gday because I hadn't seen you around for a while and read the sad news about Muffin.
I know it was a little while ago now but I feel your pain. They become part of us and we become so used to having them around that it is a very strange sensation to expect them to be under your feet but they are not there.
You are in my thoughts.

Hi Wendy, Thanks for your thoughts, yes I am improving. I never expected such a response from this site, everyone’s concern and caring has overwhelmed me. I can only say that it is the genuine people here who make this a very unique place to share our hopes, dreams, ups and downs. I can share your sorrow about Muffin, Bella's mate BJ left us last year and we are still adjusting. Take care,
