Thank you for the birthday wishes. It has been a lovely day. Went to my favorite Mexican restaurant for dinner. The special messages from all my friends on Sudoku made my day.

Theresa, I've just returned from celebrating my birthday, my husband's birthday and our 30th on the Royal Clipper. What a fabulous trip, and I'm sorry I couldn't respond to your kind message sooner, but connections on the ship weren't the greatest. But I really appreciate you thinking of me--your kindness made the day that much more special. Yes, cats are great, and we returned to find all three in good health, though they gave our cat-sitters grief with one of them marking territory all over the house. Back to normal soon, I hope. Anyway, one day at a time.

Theresa, greetings from a small town in the USA to your small town. Thank you for the birthday wishes! I had a wonderful baking weekend and birthday celebration with very creative grandchildren. Life is busy and happy, with the extra pleasure of sudoku puzzles and friends on the side. Your comments about great-grandmotherhood made my day. I do not consider myself photogenic, but used that photo anyway because I enjoy seeing the faces of others in photos whom I probably won't get to meet in person, besides the fact that it was a HISTORIC occasion for me to cross that threshhold. Your kindness in taking the time to send me a greeting and consideration for my photos is greatly appreciated!
