What a beautiful picture Debby! I do hope you submitted it to the site as well so everyone can see a northern Ontario sunrise! Put a couple of comments on your Flickr pictures.

Hello Debby - thanks for visiting my page. Sorry I wasn't home to welcome you but here's some for you. I've been rather busy lately and will be for a few weeks to come at work so I thought I'd better do some visiting while I had some time to myself.

Hiya Debby, sounds like your family loves it at Sunrise Valley Camp. You must not live too far from it...probably closer than I do, and I'm in Ontario. I'm about an 8 hour drive from Ste. Saint Marie. Wow, you got 5 kids??? Geesh, I got 3 and THAT's a handful! I tip my hat to you and yours.

Hey Deb, Its been awhile since my last visit and I was so happy that you took time to pop in on me. No, not in Florida until the first week in April, but I was away for several days on a business trip. Trying to get things together now in preperation to both Sully and I being gone. Need to make arrangements for my dog at the kennels, and transportation to and from airport stuff, as well as getting some work done here before I leave...staying rather busy, but loving it too.Visit again when time permits.

Hi Debby! What a beautiful amaryllis! Interesting that it bloomed for Easter instead of Christmas!! How is your Mom doing these days? The weather in FL is gorgeous right now. I hated to go away in March, my favorite month here, but we wanted to go to the Galapagos when the frigate birds & blue footed boobies were in their mating season. Also, got to see lots of little baby sea lions on the beach with their moms. We're anxious to start sharing our photos soon, but lots of other things to do first.

To answer your question, the Galapagos Islands are about 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador, which is on the west coast of South America. They are where Darwin formed his theories about evolution. We flew to one of the islands, then spent the next three nights on a catamaran sailing around the lower islands in the group (there are 13 major islands & over 40 smaller ones). In order to get from the catamaran to the shore in each place we had to go in small rubber dinghies called pangas. Most everywhere we landed we were met by sea lions. They even swam with us when we went snorkeling!! There are many types of animals there that are found nowhere else in the world. It was fascinating! Hope to show you some pictures soon.

Debbie lovely photographs. You are such a pretty little girl.
Have a wonderful Easter and the delights that go with it, do you have chocolate Easter eggs there? We still hide them for the kids in the garden and play hunt the egg even though they have grown up!! Great fun.

Debby, Love the photo. Thanks for visiting, glad you liked Gus. We have had fun getting him ready for holidays, although his masculinity is a little bit bruised with the ears for Easter!!
Happy Easter to you and yours.

Hi Debby,

Thanks for the Easter greetings and the same goes for you of course.

Yes, that is a typical New Mexico day here in the mountains of southern NM. The elevation where that picture was taken is around 7000 ft. It’s overlooking Rain Creek canyon. One of my favorite destinations in the Mogollon Mtns.

I don't konw if my knees can compete with your knees, they are pretty cute.

debby...your family is beautiful, your gazebo looks peaceful, rosie is adorable, what a fitting picture for this easter weekend. i grew up in michigan so i am paticular fond of your mackinaw lighthouse, since my husband and i collect lighthouses and our first one we bought was the old mac. that rock lake picture with the clouds would make a great puzzle. my parents have turkeys in their yard too, all the time.
have a good day debby. go tigers!!!

Thanks for the comment. When I recieved some Easter greetings pics in an email I really laughed at this one because a colleague had just shared that her 4 yr old son was horrified at the thought of dyeing eggs. This must be what he was thinking. LOL She said she quickly reassured him that they meant coloring them, not killing them! LOL
