Hiya eaa! You've been missing of SA for awhile and I just figured it was due to allotment issues. Of course, I have not been on SA much myself and probably won't catch you there even if I do pop in! Just letting you know that I'm thinking of you. Saw you posted a b'day wish on Yzma's page...thought maybe you were back up with your internet. Sending you a little devil hug!

Hello, dear eaa! We are missing you terribly on SA. In fact, we have now moved to SA8. (I know, I have been away as much this year as I have been at the computer, but am back now and still missing you.) I hope all is well and your furry little nose is staying healthy and happy and not TOO over-worked. We look forward to seeing you as soon as you can pop in for a visit. Take care of yourself!

I am so sorry to hear your sad news eaa. Poor Scamp...but how lucky he was to have had you there to do the right thing for him gently and with such love and caring. Your loss and your pain makes me think of my dear friends that I have held as they have left us and I weep with you.

The Rainbow Bridge story
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigour; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.

The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Eea, like Bean, you have given me rise to think of the many loved pets I have had over the years. It is very hard to have to have them put down, and yet the sweetest thing we can do. I have been there many times.

eaa, so sorry to hear about Scamp/ I found the Rainbow Bridge poem for you, but Broni has sent it already, so I will not repeat. Know I am thinking of you and hope that sweet memories of your pet will bring a smile in your grief.

eaa, I share your grieving as I had to have my best friend of 13 years put to sleep on March 20. I live alone, so it has created an enormous vacuum in my life, we had created so much of our life to cope with her aging and illnesses (liver disease), we developed our life-style that suited us, she helped me through many losses in my life - she is sorely missed, but she now is free of pain.

I am so, so sorry.

Dear eaa - I am so sad to hear about Scamp. There is nothing sadder (for me) than losing a furry loved one. Sending you a big hug and keeping you in my prayers.

What wonderful news that you will become a "Grandma". I hope they live near enough that you will have plenty of contact. Being Grandparents is a wonderful thing.
Very sorry to hear about Scamp. I know the heartache about losing a beloved dog.
We will be visiting Tassie for about 12 days leaving here on April 20. Ken wants to ride the train from Strahan as it is 45 years since we have been in that area.

oh eaa, I was so very sad to hear about Scamp,
it has to be one of the hardest things to say goodbye to a four legged friend, they become such a huge part of the family,

Hi, eaa! I have been away from the computer for a couple of days. I am SO sorry to hear that Scamp was injured by a car and has passed to the Rainbow Bridge. It's always so hard to let a 4-legged member of the family go. I'm thinking of you and sending you some warm Sudoku hugs!

I've been catching up on my reading, eaa. I just read the marvelous news about your son and DIL! A new grandchild is always wonderful! I bet you can't wait!
