When we visited Australia, we were told in some parts it is legal to own a dingo, in other parts you need a permit, and in still another part it is completely illegal.
The photo also brought to mind that trial in the 80's where the mom was accused of killing her baby and she insisted it was pulled out of the tent and taken away by a dingo. I think they made a movie about it.

Jacalmi - Dingoes are Australia's wild dog. They arrived in Australia about 5,000 years ago - brought to Australian shores by Indonesian Seafarers. Dingoes do not bark, but howl like wolves.

Had a meeting with my radiation Dr this morning, after a blood test. He can't say for sure the cancer's gone, but the blood test points in that direction. I'm now in a monitor phase ... blood tests every 3 months and ongoing Dr visits. I'm going to assume the radiation was a success.

It is unlikely that Sarah is able to communicate at the moment, but we are anxious to hear how she is going, in the meantime rest quietly and don't let those physioterrorists do too much damage.

Four hours since the last post, so it is probably worth a try for LPOTD' but I wouldn't be betting on it.

When we visited Karijini National Park, which is in northern Western Australia, we stopped for some lunch under a shelter just off the track. Almost immediately a Dingo walked up, looked with interest at us but then slowly sauntered off when he realised there was no food for him. I think they have become inured to human danger. I did read recently that there are very few pure bred Dingoes owing to cross breeding with domestic dogs which have turned feral. Sad
