Hi, Wolf, sorry I missed your moving into the neighbourhood. (My virus protector won't allow the side info to appear & I miss out on the B'days & new arrival's.)

I seem to have missed your move-in. A very belated
to you, Wolf!
Great to see you posting AND doing the puzzles!
My son and his family live in Ft. Worth, so I'm familiar with the area. Lovely in the spring, fall, winter....not so much the summer!
I am a "fair weather Mom". I don't visit during the summer. After frying my brains once, I learned my lesson.
Hope you're enjoying Sudokuland!

Hi Wolf you asked a question about our boat today which I answered on the jigsaw page. I'm cutting & pasting it here in case you don't go back there!!
Just a regular work boat, nick named the River Ute. Workmen's cars - the ones with a cabin & some sort of tray, are called Utes down here. It's an aluminium boat with 2 seats at the front & a canopy over them. There's a metal bench seat at the back in front of the motor, onto which we add a cushion if the load is people!! It's taken couches & beds (not at the same time tough!), bags of concrete, water & septic tanks, concrete mixer, timber..... Occasionally it's used for fishing, but he's been to busy recently to indulge himself that way!!
There is a photo of it in my gallery!

Hi Wolf!
Just thought I'd give you the info on the gumtree in today's Medium JS!
The tree has been in a bushfire & it survived! The scribbles are made by the pupae of a very small moth!
The eggs of this moth are laid between the old and new season's bark of gum-barked eucalypt trees. As the larva burrows between the bark layers it leaves a tunnel which is revealed when the old bark falls away. Like all insect larvae, that of Ogmograptis scribula increases in size periodically and these changes can be seen as a widening in the tunnel revealed as a scar on the bark surface.
In December the larvae tunnel to the surface to pupate. We do not know whether the larva forms its cocoons under lose bark on the tree or descends to the ground to pupate in the litter on the forest floor – the cocoon is very small and almost impossible to find. Inside its cocoon, Ogmograptis scribula undergoes metamorphosis becoming first a pupa and then assuming its final form.
It doesn't damage the tree, just makes it interesting. There are 3 different Eucalypts the Scribbly Gum Moth, Ogmograptis scribula, scribble on!!

Dear Wolf, at the moment I have no idea what you are talking about, but I am guessing a post on easy. And never fear, I like to believe, no matter what someone else says, I can respect those opinion and still like the person.
Now, on that note, the world would be so much simpler if everyone thought and did what I say, especially in my own home. :) Just teasing. I love my headstrong girls and Man (sometimes).

I'm sure you haven't failed as a teacher, Wolf. Marking students' test may make you feel that way, but don't you think what knowledge they pick up is up to them. I'm sure you have felt differently in previous years.Keep your chin up, keep marking and don;t get too despondent.

Hi Wolf, I am only a recent addition to these pages. Today I was reading comments of others & decided to post this to your page as I read your earlier comment about your gout pain. I have been using Apple Cider Vinegar for over 20 years to great affect & relief. I recently healed big toe fungus by spaying ACV diluted with boiled water onto - the fungus is gone & my nail almost completely regrown. I know of others who have used it both orally & topically to get relief from both arthritis & gout.
Just now I keyed 'gout apple cider vinegar' into my search engine & first post says drinking 2 tablespoons (with mother) along with a cup of water twice a day breaks up t.he uric acid crystals & stops the process of reformation in the joints.
ACV serves also as an antibiotic and in the prevention of gout. I have HAD to find alternate to Medical model solutions over the years as I have allergies to penicillin, sulphur drugs & codeine. I have not put a prescription drug in my body for over 20 years & not had the need to see a go for over ten years.
Have a read of the information on line - see what you think. Nothing to lose me thinks. Cheers for now . . . AM
PS: 'with mother' simply means buy organic as it has the mother tincture in it - and the main ingredient that makes the difference
