Good maEn everyone!
Broni: I couldn't agree more (about the TOPP!!) Things with the new realtor is 100% better...at least I feel as if she keeps me in the loop!
Teresa: Yes, there IS a lot on my plate. Trying to hang in there. My skin on my face is breaking out (probably stress, been using Mary Kay for 12 1/2 years). At least the Ambien is helping me sleep. Stress also makes me reorganize things!! Cleaned out my closet last week and my cedar chest today! AND put stuff in the sloshy thing!! Busy, busy, busy LOL!!!
Darrell is working overtime for the second time this week.
That's it for now, Huge HUGS & LOVE to all with many extras...TTFN

That's a thought Dag, might do that. I will get hubby onto it when he wakes up. He did an overnighter last night, and now takes a light sleeping tab, so hopefully we will regain some hours...

Suzy, I resemble that remark!

Tami, you are such a dibber dobber!

Heard some very sad news on the way home from school drop-off. Another Digger has been killed in Afghanistan, the 4th in just over a week. :(

Friend admitted to hospital this morning. I think it is to drain the large amount of fluid that has built up around her lungs.
I am still at home as I want to get loads of washing and other jobs done before I go visit. Good just knowing she is being looked after.

Our Madeline is receiving her Grey Wolf, and silver and gold boomerangs at Cubs tonight. This is the limit of achievements in Cubs before she progresses to Scouts next month. Very proud of her - they don't all get that far - and we'll be there tonight to see her presented with them.

June, MizT said it so well.

I was working outside after supper and was bitten by mosquitoes often. Only out for about 15 minutes. I am going to jump in the shower and then go to bed. Goodnight all.

Cyn, how proud you must be of Maddie. enjoy your evening at the awards.

Broni, sounds like the best kind of breakfast with a friend!

Suzy, will gladly send you a few degrees C, if that would get our temps down! It is still 84 F 29C here at 9:15 PM, a bit warm. That should be the HIGH for the day in early June not the bedtime reading. No relief in sight.

You know, I have not heard any more about the brush fire, it must be under control or I am sure news would be covering it. they LOVE to get photos of anything in flames, sensationalistic journalism.

I had a very good np today, after our trip to town. We had to go to bank, Al had ordered some parts he needed we had to pick up, he had a computer he needed to deliver, only had it since last fall, and of course there was something on the list for grocery. We were out of bananas, and Al gets one a day in feeding, to keep potassium up. I had 2 items to get, of course I came away with 4 hehehe. I remembered I needed 2 items to make a good sweet treat.

OH, did I tell you, ants got into my pineapple orange cake?? I was most upset. Now, we shall see if freezing temps can kill ants. I put it into freezer, Al laughed at me, but that was a goooood cake.

Time to take bedtime meds, then wait the hour fore I can turn in. Hope all is going as well as possible in your world at the moment,

Hugs to each of you, with extras.

Goodnight Theresa...sleep well...Hello everyone else...Have read and checked pictures and it seems as if everything I wanted to say was already well said for the most part...so I can only agree with all of the above post regarding the sleeping and rest broken, the amazing recovery of Robert, sending healing wishes for Heidi and Suzanne, happy School ending time for Tami and congrats to Mitchell for being so helpful, and hope MzT can keep the dogs out of her yard...but June...a special extra hug for you as you can rest a little easier knowing your friend is getting the care needed and you are freed from the difficult task that would be necessary to comfort her yet cause you discomfort, for a while longer...What a troubling dilemma to be placed in. Hopefully she will be more comfortable when released, and you will have had an opportunity to rest a bit more.
Suze and Brenda....enjoy the new cars when you get then. I think I would have been tempted to follow the suggestion made by someone..I think Theresa, to borrow a ratty 4wheel drive for a short period, just to shake up the girl-child...lol.To the unnamed, yet well loved remainder of this wonderful group of folks...sending whatever vibes to you...may they bring you whatever is needed at this time...you are in my heart...just not at my fingertips right now...What can I say...I'm old!
I
also am still a bit itchy, but the Benadryl makes me far too sleepy to use often enough to bring the hives under full control...but I'm so much better...off for now...more later...take care..I care.♥ Peace!

Greetings and Salutations, Wonderful People! Had a long day today, but found time to get to water aerobics class. I'm only up to page 99 of comments, so still back on June 1. If I were to post comments based on posts from almost a week ago, it would seem rather crazy. So I am refraining from commenting, but please know that I am thinking of all of you and sending love, positive thoughts and hugs for all! It's nearly 11, and we have another early morning and long day. We need to go into Chicago again for a second fitting of my dress for the wedding. In the afternoon, we'll be heading to my sister's (just over 2 hours away) for hair cuts, as we're looking quite shaggy and have a wedding shower to go to this weekend. I'll read and post as I find time. Good night!

Mamacita, I hope the itchies leave you soon!

MizT, good luck saving the cake! I'm glad there is no news of the fire - no news is good news! Bananas are still $13/kg down here, which works out about $3 each. I bought them once for that, but will have to crave them a bit more to fit them into my budget soon. I'm partly hesitant because I'm not convinced the stores aren't keeping the prices artificially high and the farmers aren't seeing the higher prices..

Sis came up on Friday and left again last night so we had a family bbq on Sunday lunch. Very pleasant weekend. Mum was her opinionated self but I just ignored her and Kevin left the room. If it helps him cope then that's ok.

Aki finishes her final prac/internship today and Shaun finishes tomorrow -they are making up their days they had off sick. I'm excited for them. Graduation is late in July.

Proud mommy moment.
State wide test scores have come back. Mitchell did well, as usual. He scored near the top in reading and math. Dylan also did very well in both but received a perfect score in math. I promised the kids a new video game for each perfect score. Have to go shopping this weekend.
