Congrats on the birth of the new cousin Roland...
I'm feeling blah today...itches have returned and am achy...so am not sleeping well...same old tune...time for some new music around here I think.
The weather here is rainy and not at all helpful towards an improving view.....so must find other ways to take my mind off of me...Have just finished a couple of great books and now starting another...Try A Place Called Freedom for a good read...its by Ken Follett, and the Litigators by James Patterson, if you need some reading suggestions. I'm off for now...Brenda...still no post arrival just so you know why I haven't made contact.

Suzy... unfortunately, since Three is the father (one hopes that Dana knows for sure) she will have to maintain contact with him. He will be responsible for child support for the next 18 years.

Good morning all - hairdresser today, then pick up Emily from school, then make dinner for us all when her Dad and Colin get home from work.
Some sad news here - Andrew has been seeing a woman for the last couple of months, things were moving along nicely and it looked like all might go well for him for a change. She had a brain tumour (benign) 5 years ago and has been going for 6 monthly check-ups. The most recent one, on Friday, showed that the tumour is back with a vengeance. Op is scheduled for 15th Dec. I hope it goes well, that they get it all and that this one is benign as well. He had been so happy lately and was taking it slowly. We haven't met her yet, will do on 10th Dec.

Why can't stuff like that happen to the bad 'uns? I am sick and tired of so many good people getting cancer! It's about time somebody did something about this!!!!! NOW!

Guess where I've been since 6.30 this morning? At the hospital with Dana. She was having really bad cramps that repeated at intervals. All is good. Baby is healthy, she's on antibiotics for an infection and she is to go back if they don't get any better/get worse as there is a very very slight possibility that it is her appendix. And she talked the whole time!

MizT, tell Joy from me that she's giving women a bad name and to drive that muddy road. Climb that mountain! Lift that barge! Tote that bale!

Broni, your schedule sounds kind of good for this time of year, unless you have lots of gifts still to buy. Big hugs and I hope you have a relaxing time.

Alie's video audition is in Wollongong and hopefully being viewed favourably since she is now interested. (I've worked out what changed... a group of her friends are auditioning too). Did I tell you about the video audition? There were no audition places left so her teacher said "I told them that had to hear you so they've said I can take a video of you along". Saved me a long drive! If she gets a call back I'll have to do it tomorrow though.

Prayers for Andrew's lady friend. Spent morning gninaelc this morning. Ran the sucky thing around on all 3 floors, did 2 loads of my stuff in the sloshy thing (Darrell does his own hsaw--has for years)
Cyn: Got really annoyed with Farmville. Site kept disconnecting (recovering webpage error) then I'd restart, same problem. Took over 3 hours between all our farms (Darrell's 9 farms, my 6) told him I give up. Been playing games on Bing (search engine) and mahjongg and some others. I will keep my Facebook account, just not getting sucked into their games. Mark Zuckerberg ought to be pummeled!!!! He is the creator/owner of Facebook. I am just glad they don't charge for membership!!

Thanks for all you good vibes for Andrew's friend, Kaitlyn. Emily was telling me on the way back from school just now that 'Dad's been upset, Kaitlyn is sick and he said - why does this have to happen'. Poor thing, he's had 2 bad years and just when thing looks promising - a big whammy. I do hope all goes well (for her first), and for him. As I said, I haven't met her but I like what I've heard and, let's face it, it would be hard to find someone worse than his ex!!

Suzy, you certainly have your hands full! Yep, it's a good thing you have your hubby as a rock/stable force you can rely on through all of this! I suspect that you're right that it wouldn't have happened if she hadn't been standing with the donor.

Brenda, your advice to Suzy might have an effect - if Dana is paying attention. It's certainly worth a try!

Theresa, you and your family certainly have your hands full! Wishing for progress for your MIL, and the best possible outcome, wherever she goes after the hospital! Poor Dakota; I hope his tongue heals quickly! How is your D doing through all of this? Does she still have therapy appointments? I hope she's keeping active and doing whatever has been prescribed! It's tomorrow Brenda, and it may be for nothing. The paperwork says tomorrow, the website says tomorrow, Alie was told 9am tomorrow, but 2 other parents say it is on Friday.
