Good morning/night all.
Gail and Daughter.
I love fuchias and had a lot in Adelaide. Too hot here for them even though you can buy them. Is your kitchen finished yet?

June. Hope you are feeling much brighter today. Judy is doing well now. Had more cancer show up in her leg with 5 small spots on the sciatic nerve.More chemo and back for a PET scan in May. This time she kept most of her hair and for the 1st time in 2 yrs it is beginning to get long enough to see a few curls. She is happy.

Heidi.. love the new work vehicle. It seems strange that IH cannot turn on the TV,wonder if something is seriously wrong with him.

Brenda & Suzy..congratulations.The new Grandaughters must give you pure pleasure.Mine are growing up so quickly and start school next year.

Suzy, or anyone else, can you please tell me what a fuchia is? There has to be another name that we call it topside.

That's the name we call it here, too, Tami. It's a lovely flowering shrub with dramatic pendant flowers usually in vivid pinks and reds.

Hi, Everyone! I'm just popping in for a quick visit.

June, hoping you have a relaxing and rejuvenating day! Here are some cyber flowers for you to enjoy!

Nola, from what others have said, you are unlikely to get a trojan from Broni's email, so not to worry. Just close and trash.

Heidi, enjoyed the pictures of Rede.

Nola, come back soon for another visit!

Happy Birthday, Gail and D! Enjoy!

I need to try to get to bed earlier than usual - just kind of dragging today. Sending lots of positive thoughts, healing vibes, prayers {{{{{HUGS}}}}} and for everyone today!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Gail!! Enjoy your special day.

Venting time!! Skip if you wanna!!
Stressful today, SUPPOSED to have a showing on the house, agent/buyer decided NOT to show or call. Called my agent, found out they found a house, WITHOUT calling my agent to cancel!! Why are people SO inconsiderate??
Hope all are well in Sudokuland!! Love & Hugs with extras!! TTFN

BIG VENT:

It is now 11:30 pm, I am sitting at my computer, and neighbor has turned up music, I think in vehicle, one of those traveling boom boxes. All I can hear is the base and it is most annoying. This is over the sound of my fan, my TV and all windows closed. some people just do not consider others, aaaaaaaaaaaggggggghh!!

Suzanne, that was most inconsiderate of the people, not to notify anyone when they were not coming for appointment. manners are slipping with so many these days.

Julie, I hope you got to sleep early and got some much needed rest. you do so very much in a day, wish i could keep up with you!!

heidi, nice photos of your bull. He surely is a big boy!! I would not want to see him when not in a good moo-ed hehehe. Thanks for the link for the flowers, I have not seen those here, they are pretty.

Friend Eddie came for a visit, brought boxes from his work for Joy to use moving. We sat on the shady back porch, drank iced tea and enjoyed the breeze. He got rid of a wasp nest in the making over the back door, and replaced a light bulb on front. he is such a nice guy. He still misses Al so much, most guys will not let on if they do, but he talks about Al a lot when he visits.

I dozed in my chair most of the late afternoon, just could not stay awake. good thing was I was not hurting.

Now that i have got kitty to go to sleep on computer tower, i think I will go back to recliner and read a while. ahhhh, music turned off, whew, glad of that.

Hugs to each of you, with extras.

They are Suzy, they are :)
Hannah has gone to SuperNova (a comic convention) and has been out since early this morning, then Chloe turned up and she and I went to the outdoor market in the next town. The weather is amazing for autumnal April, a real Indian summer and there is no excuse for being in the house. I can never remember my birthday being this spectacular. Chloe and I had a great time, bought a lot of things that may have been food items, plus she bought me a little purse I admired and a cyclamen :).
Hubby and I were going to grab a picnic lunch and go to the local lake, but we decided to have an al fresco light lunch at our local then a cruise around with the top down. We had a few other things planned but sadly the car got instantly sick so we limped it home then went back out in my car.
We went to our favourite nursery and bought a couple more fuchsias, and the girl who owns the nursery gave me another cyclamen when hubby mentioned my birthday :)
Tonight the kids will be here for dinner, just simple baked potatoes so not much work for me, which is actually all I have asked for :)

Hubby and I have had a lovely afternoon at the light shop. We bought new ceiling lights for the ensuite and bathroom, lights for over the mirror for all 3 bathrooms and bedside lights for the spare room.
We only have to buy new tapware for the ensuite and that should be the end of the major expenses. Whew!

Rant from me, too:
IH and I got into a humdinger of a fight last night. He's trying to sell a young bull of mine without consulting me. I told him that if this person wants to buy the bull, he is to deal with ME only. He has no right to sell something that does not belong to him. Then he whined about needing the money. That's when the sh*t hit the fan. I lit into him about not having paid me back a single penny of all the money he borrowed in good faith. Then he said "I HAVE been paying you back." I called him a liar, and said that he had not put a single dollar in my hand. He claimed that he has been subtracting money from the debt every time he pays anything for household or farm expenses.... such as putting minimal salary into the joint account. I told him that he has no right to unilaterally subtract a single penny from that debt without proof that the amount was valid and proper, and only if I OK it. I told him that as far as I am concerned, he has not repaid me a single penny. I don't trust him not to make up figures, either. I am really sick and tired of dealing with this loser.

Morning all. Coffee is ready, help yourself.

Heidi, it sounds like it might be time for you to do some serious thinking about your strict code of honor. A person can only put up with so much and you have put up with more than most. I am here for you if you need to talk.

I cannot understand why all of the books say that canaries are the easiest birds to raise. I have never had a canary egg hatch here.

Good Morning friends, a good nights sleep last night, most of it in the recliner. I fell asleep with my book, woke about 5 am and went to bed. Cat missed me in bedroom and joined me sometime, she was lying ON me.

Cyn, I like your birthday cake avatar, looks yummy. I knew you meant that for Gail, think she did also hehehe.

Victoria, how fun, shopping for lights for the renovation. I am glad you found something you liked and hope the hunt for tapware goes as well for you. New term for me, but I did know what tapware would be, it kind of fits.

Gail, enjoy th cyclamen plants, I looked them up to be sure I knew what they were. I was given some once, and not knowing name or how to care for them, when they went dormant, I threw them away! I shall have to try them again someday. will they grow outside at your location?

Hugs to each of you, from cloudy, overcast Alabama. the same storm system that is causing so much damage in Midwest yesterday and today will come through here tomorrow night and Tuesday, supposed to weaken by then, I hope.

Good Maen everyone! Darrell & I both had lousy night's sleep.
Heidi: TTT is right, you have to deal with more than most with IH! Are you willing to cut your losses (with him) or is it too late?? I'm here too if you need to talk! Too sad about the canaries.

I'm off to put the bucket on my tractor and start moving gravel. The neighbors-from-h*ll installed a culvert where it washes out our only creek crossing on the property. We can no longer get vehicles to the back third of the farm. I asked IH to order more gravel, since we don't have enough, and I'd do the work. Well, he didn't get the gravel, so I have to use what little we have. It'll look like sh*t, but we MAY be able to cross. What I really need to do is get a cement truck back there so the crossing can't be washed out any more.

I was a bad mommy today. Mitchell "passed gas" and his brother and I convinced him that there was a brown stain on the back of his pants. He actually took his pants off to check. We were laughing so hard. Why I am so happy to pull a fast one on a 15 year old

Just got back in after moving gravel. There wasn't much, so I had to scrape up all that I could. But at least the crossing is passable now. Barely. It really needs concrete.

This caught my eye, thought i would share it with you. Prattville is just south of us about 40 miles, on the interstate.

PRATTVILLE, Ala. (AP) - A central Alabama judge ordered a man to serve three days in jail for contempt of court for wearing so-called saggy pants.

Twenty-year-old LaMarcus D. Ramsey was in Autauga County Circuit Court on Tuesday to enter a plea on a charge of receiving stolen property.

Circuit Judge John Bush told Ramsey his blue jeans were sagging too low and gave him the three-day stint. The judge told Ramsey to buy pants that fit or a belt when he gets out of the county jail.

The judge says he finds it disrespectful and a disruption when people wear pants below their waistline in his chambers.

"To me it's not any different than if someone stood up in court and started cussing everybody out," Bush said. "It's disrespectful conduct and I think as judges we're expected to at least have some degree of control and respect for the courtroom the people have given us charge of."

Calls to Ramsey's public defender were not immediately returned.

Hubby and I decided it was a too nice of a day to stay home. Packed drinks in a cooler and packed the three boys in the car. Headed to the beach, picking up some burgers on the way. Dogs are not allowed on the beaches near us so we parked on the street, opened the windows and had a picnic in the car. It was very wind and the water was rough. We enjoyed the scenery and then drove home.
