Epileptic seizures are very scary to see. Especially in a much loved pet or a child. Jazz may just need his phenobarbitol increased, too. Lyric got 5 tablets a day for her last 5 years.

Inlaw problems here. FIL is refusing to go to his doctor's appointment this week. He was getting his legs checked out, but unbeknownst to him, the doctor was going to assess him generally to see if she felt it was wise for him to continue living at home. Also, his ears are blocked and he can't hear anything unless you really shout at him. He is also refusing to get his ears blown out. Sheesh! When I go down there I get such a headache. He watches a lot of sports on TV and he has the volume up as loud as it will go.

MIL on the other hand is continuing to improve.

I have an appointment at the foot clinic at 9:00 tomorrow morning, and even though it's not quite 8:00 I am soon headed for bed. The pain in my feet has increased over the last few days, so this appointment is coming just in time!

Catch you all another time. You are all in my thoughts daily.

Hi, Mama you are not having an easy time at the moment. Big Hugs to you and take care as we do not want you being unwell again
I have a friend (we were in Melbourne together nearly 50 years ago). Her funeral tomorrow is in St. Paul's Cathedral. It is being webcast live so I will be able to see the service without travelling to Melbourne.

It was a beautiful morning and I was bowling in the semifinal of the minor singles competition. I knew I had a very good opponent but I had a day where everything went my way and I won 31/12.
This afternoon we have had a couple of storm fronts go through and the joints in my thumbs are aching so much I doubt I could even pick up a bowl. A few other joints are aching as well so I will have a very early night with a hot water bottle. No use being on the computer as I cannot work the mouse.

A cold front is on it's way to alabama, we have forecast lows around 50, that is cool for September. Of course my body is objecting to this weather change. Hip woke me twice last night. Thank goodness for modern medications. I am groggy this morning, medication hangover, but I did get back to sleep. I am very thankful for that.

Heidi, I know how it feels, cannot sleep for the pain. I do hope you had a good night last night. You need to rearrange anything you possibly can, to get you back to the pain clinic for another epidural. Sometimes you just need to put yourself first. Feel better soon, friend.

June, congratulations on your win at bowls. Sorry the cold front in your area has left you achey. Those thumbs can cause such a big problem for such a small appendage. Never knew how much we used them till they hurt, eh?

Julie, hope you had a restful night. thanks for dropping in and letting us know you are OK, just major busy. See??? You did not have to post your usual long, lovely posts, and we still love you

Theresa, so sorry to hear of the problems with your FIL. I wish I had a majoc pill that would solve all the problems. since I do not, do come here when you need to vent and let off a bit of steam. It is a hard situation I know. Wish we could help.

Mama, I do hope that Jazz continues to improve and is soon as good as can be. Hugs to you dear lady. Our fur babies are so important to us.

OK, that is it for this page, and I have more chores to do, imagine that hehehe. Catch you on onother rest break, Hugs with extras. till later.

Slept long, slept well and slept late. And the back isn't hurting as much today. My elbow is hurting where a cow kicked it. Nothing broken, just badly bruised. I do need to get dressed NOW, hook up the stock trailer, and load up Junior to take him to the sale barn. The sale starts in 4 hours and there's always a long line.

I am back from my appointment on this very cool, rainy day. I walked there, it took about 15 minutes. On the way there I got splashed by 3 different cars. Grrrrr.

It does indeed appear to be plantar fasciitis. Today scans were taken to have a pair of orthotics made up, which should be ready within 10 working days. It did indeed leave a nasty hole in our chequing account ... close to $600 when all is said and done. I believe hubby's insurance will cover 50-80%, something like that.

All....
Jazz is due home in about 4 hours...things are looking up, except now I've come down with the sniffles....not my week, but also not the worse that one can experience. Changing weather usually brings this about, much like achy joints..shhh, my joints haven't realized they aren't acting up yet...LOL.
Sending positive healing energy we can all benefit from...help yourselves...It's a very big pot.

Morning all
Heidi - one of my grandies has gone to school today dressed as a pirate. When I saw her photo on FB, I thought of you. Hope you can rest that back now.
Mama - glad Jazz is on her way home. Hope she stays well.
Theresa - glad you got your diagnosis on your feet and hope the orthotics help. And that you get most of the money back from insurance.
Can't remember what else I had to say - but I send love and hugs all round!

FOR ALL DOG LOVERS - THIS IS GREAT!!
'Dogs Welcome'
A man wrote a letter to a small hotel in a
Midwest town he planned to visit on his
Vacation. He wrote: I would very much like
To bring my dog with me. He is well-groomed
And very well behaved. Would you be willing
To permit me to keep him in my room with
Me at night?'
An immediate reply came from the hotel
Owner, who wrote: SIR: 'I've been operating
This hotel for many years. In all that time, I've
Never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes,
Silverware or pictures off the walls. I've never
Had to evict a dog in the middle of the night
For being drunk and disorderly. And I've never
Had a dog run out on a hotel bill. Yes, indeed,
Your dog is welcome at my hotel. And, if your
Dog will vouch for you, you're welcome to stay
Here, too.'

Arrrrrgggghhhhh! I be having a scurvy day. Me horses broke free o' their anchorage due to me faulty navigatin', and I canna gather 'em up for the blacksmith. (In other words, I was hurting so much yesterday that I accidentally left a gate open and they're on the far side of the property right now. I had to cancel the horse shoer for this morning because I can't get them in. If I work at it all day, I should succeed. We rescheduled for tomorrow morning.)

The horses decided to return on their own about 6 pm. The gate that was accidentally left open is now shut again. They'll come in relatively easily in the morning. Once their feet are done, I'm picking up Bandolero (the Paso Fino stallion) and bringing him over here for a month to be in with Sadie.

Hello there most wonderful sudoku friends.
Haven't reade or caught up on anything and have really missed you all and the banter on easy.

Have just posted there and will return to fill you all in with more detail later.

'Hi folks.
Hate it when operator error results in a long post being lost... it is worse than when they get lost in cyberspace. At least you have no control over that.

Haven't caught up with anything since I was in Swan hill over the weekend.. unpacking..let alone a game of sudoku and checking up on the hijinks here.. it is very difficult going 'cold turkey' where the 'easy' page is concerned. Funny how incomplete my day is if I don't drop in here.

Hope I haven't missed any VIP's birthdays .. I missed so many over the last couple of years while my brain was AWOL.. trying hard to redeem myself now.

Now I am off to enjoy the sunshine.. a truly glorious day down here. Inside work can wait.
Enjoy your day everybody.'

Greetings of the Evening to Everyone! I did a quick read, but not much has stuck in my brain.

Nola, what FANTASTIC news about Judy being back home! {{{{HUGS}}}} for both of you!

Tami, I'm sure everyone enjoyed the meal at your house for Rosh Hashanah! Happy New Year!

Theresa, so sorry to hear that your FIL refused to go to the doctor! I guess all you can do is make another appointment and try again! I hope your MIL and FIL don't cause too much stress for you and your hubby!

June, I hope your cough/cold continue to improve! Congratulations on your win in the tournament!!

Heidi, what a horrible time for your back to be acting up! I'm glad the horses came back on their own. You have accomplished so much recently!

MizT, I hope all goes well with the signing of the lease! Sorry to hear you had such a bad night. Hopefully you will feel much better and get the rest you need soon!
Bean, how nice that you could have an enjoyable visit!

Suzy, I hope the 'monsters' behave themselves and your teaching day was memorable (in a good way)!

I apologize for so few comments, but the Sandman has caught up with me and my eyelids are drooping! Feel free to share the prayers, positive thoughts, healing vibes, {{{{{HUGS}}}}} and

12 year chemistry? I hope you're better at it than I was. Chemistry was the reason I gave up on Vet School. It took me 5 tries to pass intro.... and the only reason I finally passed... barely... was that I had seen the test questions so many times. I still had no grasp of the basics. My (still undiagnosed) dyslexia was at it's worst here. You have my sympathy, Suzy.

Good Morning friends, a cool start of the day today, much like yesterday. Could almost do with some heat, but I will struggle through. A cup of hot coffee, my hoodie, and if I need it, freshly washed sherpa throw in my recliner plus the heating pad would work. It is not that cold, but getting chilled does make me ache more, so I try to avoid it.

Yesterday my sister was down, we worked from 9 till 5, got a lot more packed. I have boxes everywhere! I will check today to see if there is anything else I can do without till after the move and pack away, but I think I am down to essentials. I have lots of help comming Sunday to get the very last things packed for Monday, we can do this.

I sent sis home with more plants, and huge flower pots. She says WE will have flowers on her deck come spring, I cam come visit any time I want, sit and watch the flowers and the birds. she would even take photos and send to me if I miss them in between hehehe.

I did read, but my brain did not retain this morning. I think it is still asleep. I really did sleep well last night, perhaps this cool, snuggle under the covers weather, and being just the right amount of tired helped.

Heidi, good luck with the re-shoeing of horses. I hope that goes very well. Too bad the helper will not be there today.

SUZY, get well soon, and congrats on the work you had this week. I will keep fingers and toes crossed for the job as chemistry teacher. Is this a subject you wanted to teach?

Gail, happy for you that you have room for whatever in the back yard. You are a good sport, letting yard be ripped up when you seem unsure just why so much must be disturbed. Something to do with hubby's shed perhaps?

Julie, no problem with the lease signing. I did have a miserable trip home, though. Did I not tell about that? HUGE downpour of rain most of the way home, at times I could barely see the auto in front of me. I was so tense by the time I got home, my fingers hurt from holding the wheel so tightly, ached all over. A scheduled day of rest and light duty on Tuesday and I recovered nicely.

I did find out there is a computer in the library at EP, so if it takes a few days to get internet back in my apartment, Perhaps I can still drop in for a quick read on their computer. IF I had a laptop, I could use their first floor wi fi but I am sticking with a desk top, just more comfy for me than laptop.

Time for breakfast, and to snuggle under my throw (rug?) for a bit. Hugs to each of you, with extras all around. till later.

Heidi, I know what it is like holding the horses legs while the farrier works on their feet. Please do not make your back worse.
